Dirty Dozen: Week 7.

You learn something constructive from every defeat.

That quote was from the legendary Dallas Cowboys coach, Tom Landry.

He knew from learning from defeats as his head coaching career started with an 0-11-1 season in 1960, and didn't win more than five games the following four seasons. He was given a ten year contract extension after those five years. The next two seasons saw seven and ten wins respectively. The rest was history as Dallas was one of the dominant teams of the NFL during the 1970s.

Who knows. Some of these teams in this week's Dirty Dozen could be beneficiaries of the struggles they are currently experiencing in a few years. You can bet on nobody having the patience that Clint Murchinson Jr. had.
