Ohio State -6

Over/Under 56.5

The biggest game in the Big Ten and possibly the country happens this Saturday in Columbus. The winner will take pole position in the race for the East half of the conference, like last year. Penn State defeated Ohio State; 24-21, despite being outplayed at Beaver Stadium last year. The Buckeyes are the favorite and looking to take back control of the East.

Beating Michigan last week was the first of three tests the Nittany Lions had to face in order to repeat as conference champions. They passed the first test against an anemic Michigan offense; 42-13. This second test ramps up considerably in difficulty. Ohio State has been on a roll since they simplified their offense following their lone loss to Oklahoma. The Buckeyes are on a five game winning streak; producing more than 50 points in four of them. They have hit over 500 yards in each of the past five games, including the 56-14 demolition of Nebraska, October 14th in Lincoln. Quarterback; J.T. Barrett, has 21 touchdowns to only one interception. He also rushes for a 5.2 yard average along with freshman phenom running back; J.K. Dobbins, (7.8 average.)

Penn State running back; Saquon Barkley, leaps into most peoples' lists the Heisman front runner. He could singlehandedly turn a game on a big play. While the Ohio State defense will be keying on him; the Lions quarterback; Trace McSorley should have more opportunities to do damage. McSorley's dual threat capabilities along with the talent at the skill positions will give the Buckeye defense fits. The Penn State defense should be able to disrupt Barrett. The Lions lead the Big Ten in sacks and tackles for loss.

One thing that could factor in is who will be the most disciplined in the biggest game for both teams. Ohio State is next to last in the Big Ten in taking penalties; Penn State is third best in the country. The Buckeyes have to be careful about being too jacked up going into the game. Penn State has outscored its opponents 90-0 in the first quarter this season.

Each team have very strong pieces going into this game; and it could go either way. How does Ohio State come out after week off? Penn State will finally be facing a team that can execute a forward pass. This is a Buckeyes revenge game and they already had their subpar performance at the Shoe this year.

Ohio State 38-27
