Bournemouth and Wolverhampton continue to surprise as they both won their matches. The major disappointment continues to be the soap opera at Manchester United, where they dropped three more points to a resurgent West Ham. Manchester City finds itself on top of the league again due to goal differential over Liverpool, who had their unblemished run ended with a draw to third place, Chelsea.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are the lone undefeated clubs through seven matches. Wolverhampton has only one defeat.

Here are five headlines from Round 7.

Everton blanks Fulham, 3-0

Everton overcame a sluggish first half to score three second half goals for their second league win of the season. A Cenk Tosun header in the 66th minute was sandwiched between two Gylfi Sigurdsson goals in the 56th and 89th minutes. Sigurdsson missed a penalty kick in the first half and hit the crossbar early in the second half.

Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon hit the bar in a first half that Fulham carried the edge of the play.

We must show more solidarity and fight like it's the last second in our life

Fulham manager, Slavisa Jokanovic is becoming increasingly more frustrated by the lack of production from his club. They have spent quite a bit of money over the summer but only has eight goals to show for it with Aleksander Mitrovic scoring five of them. Fulham have lost 22 matches in a row at Goodison Park.

Everton has Carabao Cup duties with Southampton at home on Tuesday. A trip to face Leicester City awaits them on Saturday.

Fulham hosts Arsenal on Sunday.

Cherries continue to be sweet.

Bournemouth sits in seventh place after a competitive 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace Monday night. David Brooks got his first Premier League goal five minutes in to give the Cherries the early lead. He becomes the youngest goal scorer for Bournemouth; (21 years, 84 days).

Football isn't a fair game

Crystal Palace manager, Roy Hodgson's quote played out in the second half. Patrick van Aarnholt tied the game in the 55th minute, but was offside. In the waning moments of the match, a penalty was called on Palace's Mamdou Sakho for elbowing Jefferson Lerma in the chin in the box. Junior Stanislas blasted the ball past Wayne Hennessey for the game winning penalty kick goal.

Bournemouth visits Watford on Saturday. Crystal Palace sits in 13th place and hosts Wolverhampton on Saturday.

Surprising Wolves grab another win.

Newly promoted Wolverhampton joins Bournemouth as the surprise clubs through the first seven matches. After drawing with Manchester United last week, they defeated Southampton, 2-0 at Molineaux. They find themselves in 8th place, riding a five game unbeaten streak in the top flight for the first time since 1981.

This match lacked quality until Wolves brought in Adama Traore. He was instrumental in setting up another substitute, Ivan Cavaleiro with a goal in his first touch in the 79th minute. Jonathan Castro-Otto added the second goal eight minutes later.

It's beginning to appear that Southampton manager, Mark Hughes may need to flip through the want ads once again. A club that does have pride finds itself in 15th place. Southampton has taken 13 points out of the available 45 under Hughes.

Southampton has a Carabao Cup match with Everton on Tuesday. They have Chelsea at St. Mary's on Sunday.

Wolverhampton visit Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Liverpool gets a late equalizer.

It was a spectacular game

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp was spot on in his assessment of this match. Both managers shook hands with smiles on their faces after Daniel Sturridge put a beautiful, 25 yard curler into the net in the 89th minute for the tie. Eden Hazard scored his league leading sixth goal in the 25th minute.

Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri believed that his side were a step behind the likes of Liverpool at the start of the week. A 2-1 Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool during the week and this draw has Sarri thinking they are closer than he thought.

Second place Liverpool goes to Napoli for a Champions League match on Wednesday. They have another major test on Sunday, hosting Manchester City.

Third place Chelsea hosts MOL Vidi in the Europa League on Thursday and travels to struggling Southampton on Sunday.

Crisis at Manchester United deepens.

It's a tale of two clubs going in different directions during the past few weeks. West Ham have found themselves, despite an 8-0 drubbing in the Carabao Cup to the hands of Macclesfield during the week. The Hammers have two wins and a draw to Chelsea in their past three league matches after a horrible four consecutive losses to begin the season. Felipe Anderson opened the scoring at the five minute mark, although he and Pablo Zabaleta were offside on the play. Victor Lindelof provided an own goal moments before the half and Marko Arnautovic added the third goal in the 74th minute.

United's only goal came from Marcus Rashford in the 71st minute. This 3-1 loss made it the worst United start in the league in 29 years. The Red Devils were dumped from the Carabao Cup by Derby County a few days earlier. The defense; a staple of a Jose Mourinho squad, has been porous. United has only one clean sheet in the past seven matches. Making things worse is that Mourinho appears to be losing this locker room. Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez were completely left off the squad against West Ham. There was also a training ground argument between Mourinho and Paul Pogba. The clouds are certainly getting more ominous above Mourinho's head amidst the rumors of a Zidedine Zidane replacement.

10th place Manchester United faces Valencia at home in the Champions League on Tuesday; then hosts Newcastle on Saturday.

13th place West Ham goes to Brighton on Friday night.
