2019 Masters Props
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. No, I’m not talking about presents under the tree or Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” blaring on my stereo. I’m talking about the great month of April. Not only is the weather getting warmer, flowers blooming, and school nearing its end with summer right around the corner, but the sports season is starting to heat up as well. This week alone there are the NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs, great MMA and boxing events, MLB regular season, UEFA Champions League, and more importantly, The Masters. It truly is a shame I just retired from gambling literally two days ago because this is the holiday season for sports gamblers. It’s probably for the best I have no money in my Bovada account otherwise I would be placing a few bets down amongst all the different enticing props. That doesn’t mean I can’t pretend like I am betting though. This particular post is about The Masters but I’m sure I’ll get some inspiration to write about my thoughts regarding the NBA playoffs very soon. A few interesting points I have read or heard this last week about The Masters are: Justin Rose has finished in the top 3 two of the last 4 years, the last 5 winners have had odds greater than or equal to 10/1, Tiger Woods is Tiger *bleeping* Woods and can never be counted out of any major, especially at Augusta National. This will definitely be one of the more interesting fields to play at Augusta. Players like Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler are both determined to succeed for their own reasons. Brooks Koepka is always tough in majors, winning 2 of 4 last year and the last two U.S. Opens. Dustin Johnson got bumped from the #1 world rank by Justin Rose this last week. Jon Rahm is a blubbering idiot and plenty other storylines that will be discussed or created throughout the weekend. It truly is an exciting time for sports so buckle in and enjoy this week and weekend the only way I know how, pizza in the oven, laying on the couch, and flipping back and forth between all these events.
Below are the props I am mock betting on for the sake of not going insane since I can’t bet on them. 1u means I would put down a $10 bet. 1/2u means $5 and so on and so forth. If I was really betting, 1u would be $1.00 but it's my fake betting account, so I can do what I want.
