Playoff Preview: Don't Call It A Comeback v. Injured Reserves

The tale of two different teams. Some may say one team had an easy route to the playoffs and many will say one team put on one of the greatest regular season comebacks in league history. Here is our preview of possibly a the best match up of the week.

# Injured Reserves-Brandon G (7-6)

Strengths: His team is shaped by 3 star players in the form of Cam Newton, Melvin Gordon, and Julio Jones. This shapes his team to be solid in most categories of offense. Also having the #1 ranked defense in the league. Although most of his other players are not big name guys he gets solid play from guys like Marqise Lee and Alex Collins

Weakness: Of course he has the players but its never consistent. He has the talent to do it but no one is ever counted on week in and week out to be able to always put up good numbers. Whether it be Hunter Henry or even his first round pick in Julio Jones. His division was very mediocre so we'll see how his true talent shapes up in this first round.

#6 Don't Call It A Comeback-Aaron (6-7)

Strengths: we'll start easy with him having the #1 running back in the league followed with a solid receiving core in Funchess and Cooks. He also holds one of the games top TE's. For the first two months he had huge Qb troubles but has seemed to find a great fit with Josh Mccown leading the way.

Weakness: A second back....he's got the talent but can woodhead or duke johnson give him the stability he needs in production? Consistent play in receivers is also a big factor for the Comebacks. Cooks and Demaryius Thomas have been so up and down its hard to rely on either.

Prediction: It's been two different for two teams and this week it will show. GM Aaron Stretch brought this team hope when they were one game from being eliminated at 2-7. The IRs have dealt with a weak division and flaws will be exposed. Expect the Comebacks season to continue and to advance to their first semi final in their first season in the league
