Week 8 Power Rankings

Officially 8 weeks through the season and somehow no one is officially eliminated from having a chance at the playoffs. Many teams are scratching for a chance to keep playing for a purpose. Here are our power rankings through eight weeks of play.

12. Team Martinez (2-6)

After a strong two week start he has now lost 6 in a row. I'd mark this season as over for him. He has no pieces that could possibly make him a contender. One thing he should worry about now is getting resigned to another year in the league. Chances are very low as of now.

11. Billy Bs-Aaron (2-6)

He's the 4th highest scoring offense in the league. Injuries haven't helped and his strength of schedule has been crazy. He has the worst ranked defense giving up the most points in the league. This is probably one of the best bad years you can have. Look for Billy Bs to grow next year. Central division was too tough this year

10. Team Googles-Andy (3-5)

This team faces Team Zambrano this week and i really feel if he can pull a win off he's a very good team to look out for. He struggled early and many talks over how the GM handles situations came into play. He needs a better Qb and maybe better flex. Look for more moves to come by trade deadline.

9. Baby Pinal-Saul (3-5)

Probably one of the weirdest parts of this year is seeing the regular season king just flop. We question if last years championship run caused a slow start this year. On paper he has a top 5 team but somehow they play as a bottom half squad. Moves should be made soon. He is looking to avoid missing the playoffs for the first time in league history.

8. Team ZG (3-5)

After starting 1-5 we figured we write him off. He got a lot of shame from the league critics. Well he's proving something now. He's second in the North Division and is only one game behind. He's still going to have to do a lot to try to sneak in.

7. Team Chaparro (4-4)

There was an article posted saying Team Chapparo ruined his season again. Honestly i don't think so. He's played decent but just hasn't pulled through with a win. He may need a trade or just luck. I still believe in this team.

6. D.K.'s Bananas-Brandon (4-4)

1st in North Division.

5. Team Zambrano (5-3)

He puts on another case to win GM of the Year. It's crazy what he's done with this team. He's tied for first in the South Division. This may be the Cinderella team this year. One of the most loved teams in the league. He has a huge matchup with Team Googles this week.

4. Team Pinal-Mr. P (5-3)

He still holds division lead but is now tied. He monsters of WR have carried him but his running backs still struggle a little.

3. Team Gamboa-Mr. G (5-3)

I personally think this ranking is way too high. He's 3rd in the central division and has a very mediocre team. If he cannot win the big game this week then he may be wrote off as not a true threat. He needs a stronger WR core and Ajayi will now need to pick it up. Along with poor QB play

2. The Underground Rail Roads-Kique (6-2)

A huge x-factor is now suspended again. Zeke will be out until the playoffs. GM Kique has set up his chances very nice to still make it in. He will need to find other ways to win quick if he's looking for a first round bye.

1. Chiraq Beans-Jay (6-2)

His best franchise start seems to find itself with a easy matchup this week. Only problem he faces now is a true WR1. Michael Thomas has been very consistent but Jordy and Diggs are starting to struggle. A forced move isn't needed right now but maybe by deadline something will be made.
