The Cowboys recently traded for defensive end Robert Quinn from the Dolphins for a 2020 6th round draft pick. The Cowboys were looking to bolster their defensive line after David Irving shockingly retired and with the upcoming suspension for Randy Gregory. The trade was big for the Cowboys who add a veteran pass rusher. With the Dolphins last year, Quinn had 6.5 sacks and 2 force fumbles. The Dolphins made the trade to try and get younger and rebuild while getting rid of his hefty salary. The Dolphins ultimately retained a small portion of his 12.9 million dollar salary to lighten the load on the Cowboys cap. The Cowboys will most likely look to add more defensive line talent in the upcoming draft.
