New Sports Betting Website Launched

I'm excited to announce that we've launched our new website at TheSportsGeek.com.  After months of planning, designing and testing we are finally able to roll out a much improved website over our previous out-dated sports betting and DFS resource website.

The Sports Geek has been growing year over year and it was definitely time for a new website, especially in this mobile world - where most users are using their cell phones to search for sports betting tips and DFS lineup information.  As you will see the new website is mobile friendly, and you will see everything that someone on their computer would see on the website.  This ensures you aren't missing any of the great content at The Sports Geek.

Our sports betting picks can now be found in a beautifully designed blog area, where you will find picks for all sports for both betting and daily fantasy sports.  The picks are categorized so you can also filter out and look at only picks from the sports you are intersted in betting on.  For example if you want to bet on this weekend's Super Bowl you would visit the NFL Picks page to view all current NFL picks.

With the new website we've also begun to grow our team of writers.  Most recently we have added a couple of Daily Fantasy Sports writers, who have a strong passions for fantasy sports and have had success at DraftKings and FanDuel.  Our DFS section at The Sports Geek is continuously growing, as fantasy sports for real money is taking off and becoming just as popular as sports betting with certain demographics.

The Sports Geek is known for its sports betting strategy articles, and we plan to finally update them to take the current betting market into consideration (as Jim wrote a lot of those articles nearly 7 years ago know).  Along with the sports betting strategy articles we will focusing on adding to the DFS Strategy section as well.

This past month (January 2017) was the best month in the history of The Sports Geek for website traffic (or visitors) and that gets us excited to continue to make sure the website is the best on the Internet for sports bettors and DFS players.  Thanks for the support, now head over to TheSportsGeek.com to check out the new site!
