Rumour Mill: Astros Thinking Of Making Another Move

Mike Napoli

It seems the Houston Astros are going for the big prize next season.

Earlier last week, the Astros acquired Brian McCann and Josh Reddick.

Now, rumour has it that the Astros are pursuing another slugger.  Mike Napoli.

Acquiring Nopoli is going to make Houston a really good offensive team next year if the rumours are true.

In 2016, playing for the American League Champions, Cleveland Indians, Napoli had career highs in home runs (34) and RBIs (101).

Mariners Eying McCutchen

Optional...

MLB Network's, Jon Morosi is reporting that the Seattle Mariners are eying Pittsburgh Pirate's outfielder, Andrew McCutchen.

Now I don't have get into statistics to describe how I feel about this guy.

A few years ago, I was watching Pirate's game on television.  McCutchen  drew my attention right away.

I think he's (McCutchen) is amongst the best active players in the Majors.

McCutchen is my favorite player who's not on the Toronto Blue Jays.  This guy is fun to watch on the diamond.

Despite being 30 years-old, McCutchen had 79 RBIs in 2016.

Seeing McCutchen in another uniform is definitely going to be different if the rumour is true.

 Dodgers Want Forsythe

Morosi is also reporting that the Los Angeles Dodgers are pursuing Tampa Bay Ray's infielder, Logan Forsythe.

Morosi suggests that the fact the Dodgers are pursuing Forsythe is because the team needs a second or third baseman.

In 2016, Forsythe had a career high 20 home runs and 52 RBIs.
