Word has it that the club offered a four-year, $80 million contract to free agent, Edwin Encarnacion.
That's a really good offer. I hope Encarnacion accepts it if the rumour is true.
I don't see the Jays offering a better contract to him,(Encarnacion).
In 2016, Encarnacion hit 42 home runs and was first in the American League for RBIs (127).
Encarnacion also walked a career high 87 times in 702 plate appearances.
