Adam Lallana To Miss World Club Qualifiers (Oct 2016)

Adam Lallana will miss England's World Cup Qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia after going off injured in Liverpool's win over Swansea. The Liverpool midfielder was treated by the club's physio after appearing to injure his groin while being caught in possession in the lunchtime kick-off at the Liberty Stadium.
Jurgen Klopp's side had just gone a goal down after Leroy Fer bundled over a knockdown from Swansea's record-signing Borja Baston, and the Reds suffered a further setback as Lallana headed down the tunnel before the break in need of further medical attention. They came back to win 2-1, however, thanks to goals from Roberto Firmino and James Milner. Klopp confirmed after the game to Sky Sports that Lallana will not be available for England's two upcoming fixtures.
