Barclays Premier League 2015/16 Winter Highlights

This Season has been interesting with small clubs rising over the bigger ones, managerial problems and transfers rumours. These will all be included in today's post.

Leicester City - This Winter Leicester have surprised many clubs for many reasons here they are. They have beaten top clubs including Everton,Chelsea and Watford and have become top at Christmas a big jump from last year, were they were rock bottom of the BPL. They have had amazing finishers like Mahrez and Vardy that have scored in all most every game this season, Their are many other good strikers in the BPL but they can not finish like Mahrez and Vardy. So can Leicester stay in the top four this season? If they do they could be knocking a whopping a whopping four top clubs out of the race for the Champions League.

Chelsea - This winter (mainly the season) have had lots of horrible results and are 16th at Christmas. There fans are probably wondering what is going wrong for them and how this happened suddenly from being Winners of the League only just seven months ago! This run of horrible results has run through the whole os the 2015/16 season so far. They have lost to   average teams like Bournemouth,Southampton and Stoke and only beaten easy teams like Norwich,Sunderland and Aston villa. There manager Jose Mourinho was sacked on Thursday afternoon last week due to disrespect to staff and officials and his team's continues run of losses this season so far. Chelsea have a tough run before the end of 2015 playing Manchester.Utd, Watford and Crystal Palace.

There have also been great performances for inexperienced teams that include Watford and Crystal Palace. Both these teams have beaten Liverpool and other middle classed teams. On the other side of the Premiership Aston Villa have only got six points this season so far being rock bottom this Christmas (not such a merry one for them.) Also there is struggling Sunderland with only 13 points also losing the majority of there games as they are ranked 19th this season so far. Near the middle of the table are the "title contenders" Liverpool. The reds had a good start to the season in the top four for the first five games but then there performances dropped therefore they appointed world renowned manager Jürgen Klopp to sort them out. Klopp's first few games were flyers beating Manchester City,Chelsea and Southampton by a margin of three goals or more but now they have dropped again and haven't won for five games and losing to Watford 3-0 and drawing to inexperienced teams like West Brom.

So can Leicester stay within the top four? Will Chelsea turn there season around? Can the reds and Jürgen possibly qualify for the Champions League again? Is there a way out of the relegation zone for Villa and Sunderland? Can Crystal Palace and Watford qualify for Europa League by keeping up there good performances? Can Arsenal qualify for the Champions League for the 18th year in a row? and can the wonders of the BPL continue there magic? A lot to think about for the BPL teams before the remainder of the season in 2016.
