Good Bye Boleyn Ground!

Today is West Ham United's final game at the Boleyn Ground. It will be an emotional day for all the team and supporters. The Hammers are leaving their home after 112 years of special moments at the end of this season. They will be moving into the Olympic Park in Stratford,London. It has been all over the news and the team in Burgande will only pay £2.5m a year to rent their new stadium in London. It's clear that this move has also attracted fans as already over 50,000 fans have booked season tickets. 

The Upton Park area is also were many businesses start and continue. This is mainly due to fans meeting on match days. The Boleyn ground will now be demolished within the next few months and in its place council flats will be build. Due to the move of home businesses such as Pubs,Food outlets and train stations will all have a massive income drop. They are moving from a 35,00o capacity stadium in E13 to a 80,000 capacity in E20.
