The Baltimore Ravens sign CB Brandon Carr to a four-year contract worth $24 million. The 30-year old had 61 total tackles and 1 interception with the Dallas Cowboys last season. Brandon Carr is a solid starter who plays an athletic and aggressive style.

The Oakland Raiders and TE Jared Cook agree to a two-year deal worth $12.2 million. The 29-year old had a decent season with the Green Bay Packers last year, catching 30 passes for 377 yards and 1 touchdown. Jared Cook is expected to play an important role in Oakland’s passing offense.

The Los Angeles Rams sign pass rusher Connor Barwin to a one-year contract worth a potential $6.5 million. The 30-year old had 34 total tackles and 5.0 sacks with the Philadelphia Eagles last season. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2014 after accumulating 14.5 sacks. Connor Barwin may have slowed down a bit in the last couple of years but he is a valuable addition to Los Angeles’ pass rush.

DE Jason Pierre-Paul and the New York Giants agree to a four-year deal worth $17 million per annum with $54 million guaranteed. The 28-year old, who spent his entire NFL career with the Giants, recorded 54 total tackles and 7.0 sacks last year. He won Super Bowl XLVI against the New England Patriots and earned Pro Bowl selections in 2011 and 2012.

CB Morris Claiborne signed a one-year contract worth $5 million with the New York Jets. The 27-year old had 26 total tackles and 1 interception with the Dallas Cowboys last season, where he never quite lived up to the number six overall pick hype. Morris Claiborne will have to compete for a starting spot in New York’s defensive backfield.
