Key additions: Michael Caldero, Vernon Simmons

Players to Watch: Nelson Samuels, Floyd Samuels, Julian Avila

Eagle Academy had one of their best seasons in schools history when they made their first appearance in the Bronx Borough championship. This year the Eagles are looking to get back to the Bronx Borough title game and this time win it. Eagle has many players returning including 6-2 guard Julian Avila who will look to make up for the offense lost by the graduation of Demarley Smith. Julian Avila will also have help this season with the duo of Nelson Samuels and Floyd Samuels.

The Eagles already have a strong head start to the season picking up wins against Westinghouse and John Bowne. In those games Eagle has done their part holding those teams to under 60 points. On Saturday Eagles held Bowne to 33 points it will be interesting to see if this Becomes a trend once league play starts

2017-18 Outlook
