O Canada! Our home and native land!

Welcome back for another round of Weekend Golf on DraftkIngs. This week's event is one near and dear to my heart, the RBC Canadian Open. Ok, to be honest, it's just another week of daily fantasy grinding for me but I sure would love to see a Canadian take home the hardware this week. There is a small possibility although there looks to be only two players heading to the weekend but luckily both are in contention.

1. Graham DeLaet(-8, T13) - Shot back to back 68's and currently sits T13 going into the weekend. He has made one Eagle, nine Birdies, and just three Bogey's all week. He ranks 4th in the field in Strokes Gained Off the Tee

2. Mackenzie Hughes(-8, T13) - Shot an opening round 67 and followed it up with 69 on Friday to sit in contention going into the weekend.

Round two isn't completely over yet but to get the article and cheatsheet out earlier I decided to start early. Right now, Martin Flores is holding a one stroke lead over Matt Every and charging Gary Woodland who was on fire today and shooting a nine under 63. Charley Hoffman also made a surge on Friday shooting a six under 66 after an opening round 68 and sits at -10 and inside the Top 5.

Here are my three favorite picks for the Weekend slate and don't forget to grab a FREE cheatsheet for the slate at teh bottom of the article.

Kevin Chappell ($8,400) - He ranks 22nd in my overall model which is taking into account his past history here but he has proven he is a different player this year. He has made two eagles this week(T1) and 10 birdies and ranks 21st or better in Strokes Gained Off the Tee, Approach and Around the Green through two rounds.

Gary Woodland ($7,900) - Even better value with Woodland under $8K on the weekend slate. He made 10 birdies today(13 total) and with an eagle yesterday is tearing up the field. He ranks 3rd in Strokes Gained Off the Tee and 6th in Strokes Gained Approach. If he can make a few more putts, he could run away with this on the weekend.

Charley Hoffman ($9,700) - I don't think DJ is a bad pick at all but feel he will be higher owned so I will be pivoting to Hoffman for the most part. He made just one Bogey today to go along with seven birdies and got right back in to contention sitting at -10 in a tie for 5th. His stats are lead by his 9th rank in Strokes Gained off the Tee and is Top 50 in all other SG stats.

Once again, thank you for reading my content and good luck this weekend. If you have any questions hit me up on Twitter(@Jager_Bombs9).
