The Baltimore Ravens have missed the playoffs the past two seasons and they are due to make it back to the postseason. The Ravens were off to a 3-0 start last season and seemed to fade after that.

Joe Flacco needs to play at a higher level. He hasn't done that really since that Super Bowl run in the 2012 regular season and 2013 postseason. Flacco will be the starter and Ryan Mallett will be the backup.

The running back spot could be the weakest position on this Ravens team. Kenneth Dixon should be the starter and he should some flashes last season in how good he could be. Danny Woodhead and Lorenzo Taliaferro will probably be on the roster.

The battle for the fourth running back spot will be between Terrance West, Javorius Allen, and Taquan Mizzell.

Signing Jeremy Maclin will help this receiving core a lot. Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman will be the number two and three wide outs. Chris Matthews, Chris Moore, and Michael Campanaro will most likely be four, five, and six.

The tight end position will also be another tough competition in training camp for the Ravens. Benjamin Watson, Crockett Gilmore, and Maxx Williams will be the tight ends. Dennis Pitta had to be released because of injury issues. Darren Waller is suspended for a season because of off the field issues with drugs.

Ronnie Stanley, Alex Lewis, John Urschel, Marshal Yanda, and James Hurst will most likely be the starting offensive line. When Stanley is the lineup, it is a much better offensive line.

Willie Henry, Brandon Williams, and Brent Urban will be the starters on the defensive line. It is average at best, but it will improve as the season goes on.

The linebacking core could be the best in the entire NFL. Terrell Suggs, CJ Mosley, Kamalei Correa, and Albert McClellan will be the starters.

The secondary also has questions to answer, but it could definitely improve in a hurry. Brandon Carr, Eric Weddle, Tony Jefferson, and Jimmy Smith will most likely be the starters. If rookie Marlon Humphrey makes an impact right away in the secondary, it will be tough for teams to throw on them. Lardarius Webb can play at either corner or safety.

Justin Tucker will be the Ravens kicker. Sam Koch will be the Ravens punter. Chris Moore will be the kick returner and Michael Campanaro will be the punt returner.
