The Oakland Raiders and the Denver Broncos were both looking to avoid a two-game losing streak. The Broncos were able to survive in a 16-10 win over the Raiders.

In the first quarter, Trevor Siemian threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Derby for the Broncos. Derby caught it with one hand and it was amazing. Derby finished with 4 catches for 75 yards receiving and a touchdown. Siemian completed 16-of-26 passes for 179 yards and one touchdown.

In the second quarter, Derek Carr threw a 64-yard touchdown pass to Johnny Holton. Carr completed 10-of-18 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown. Carr left the game in the third-quarter because of a back injury and the injury isn't expected to be serious. E.J. Manuel came in the game and completed 11-of-17 passes for 106 yards and was picked off late in the game by Justin Simmons.

Marshawn Lynch (9 carries 12 yards rushing) and Amari Cooper (2 receptions 9 yards receiving) were non-factors once again for the Raiders offense. Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree missed the game because of a chest injury. C.J. Anderson ran well for the Broncos (20 carries 95 yards rushing).

The Raiders will host the Baltimore Ravens (2-2) next Sunday and the Broncos will be on a bye week.
