Flyers Shut Down Rangers

The Philadelphia Flyers have looked lost in the first two meetings against the New York Rangers this season. Would tonight maybe any different? Steve Mason had a 34 shutout for the Philadelphia Flyers, in a 2 to 0 win over the New York Rangers.

Both goals were scored in the third period. Wayne Simmonds scored on the power play and Jakub Voracek scored an even strength goal. They basically dominated the whole way through. The only real positive for the New York Rangers on the night was Henrik Lundqvist's performance. He made 24 saves.

These teams will play each other one more time this season.
