Leonard's 41 points lift Spurs over Cavs

Kawhi Leonard's 41 points 6 rebounds and 5 assists lifted the San Antonio Spurs to a 118 to 115 victory in overtime. He scored 18 points in the fourth and overtime session. Cleveland sent it into overtime on a Lebron James 3-pointer with 34.8 seconds remaining. He had 29 points 6 rebounds and 7 assists.

San Antonio had a chance to take the lead late in regulation but didn't. The Cavaliers had a chance afterwards to win it regulation but Lebron missed a 3. With the Spurs ahead 116 to 113 late in overtime, the Cavs forced a jump ball. On the tip, Kevin Love tried to save the ball but Leonard got the ball and jammed it for two.

Kyrie Irving scored on a layup with 1.8 seconds remaining. He scored all 8 of the Cavaliers overtime points and finished with 29 on the night. The Cavs fouled LaMarcus Aldridge with 0.9 seconds remaining. He missed both foul shots despite having 16 points and 12 rebounds and Cleveland called timeout. With 0.6 remaining, Kevin Love missed a three. He struggled late in the game only scored 13 points.

He limped off the court after the game and so did Spurs guard Manu Ginobili. Dejounte Murray finished with 14 points and 6 assists for the Spurs. These teams will play each other one more time this season.
