Packers Give Cowboys an Expiration Date

Mason Crosby made a 51-yard field goal as time expired for the Green Bay Packers in a 34 to 31 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. It was all set up thanks to a third-and-20 play from Green Bay's own 32-yard line and Aaron Rodgers scrambled to his left and  passed it to Jared Cook for 36 yards, and then went out of bounds.

In the first quarter, Aaron Rodgers threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Richard Rodgers. In the second quarter, Ty Montgomery scored two touchdowns from 1 and 3 yards out. He finished with 47 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns, along with 6 catches for 34 yards receiving. 

With Dallas Trailing 21 to 3, Dak Prescott threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Dez Bryant. With the Packers up 21 to 13 in the third-quarter, Rodgers threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Jared Cook. Rodgers finished with 356 yards passing 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. 

In the fourth quarter, Dak Prescott threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten. He finished with 6 catches for 59 yards receiving and 1 touchdown. Later in the period, Dak threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Dez Bryant. It was followed up with a 2-point conversion run by Prescott. He finished with 302 passing yards 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. Bryant finished with 9 catches for 132 yards receiving and 1 touchdown.

Ezekiel Elliott didn't score a touchdown, but he had 125 yards rushing in the game. With 1:38 remaining in regulation, Mason Crosby drilled a 56-yard field goal. With 40 seconds remaining in the game, Dan Bailey drilled a 52-yard field goal and the rest was history. 

The Packers will travel to Atlanta (11-5) next Sunday for the NFC Championship.
