Wild Get Back in Series with win against Jets

The Minnesota Wild lost two tough games on the road to start the series against the Winnipeg Jets. They returned home and Minnesota had the second best home record during the regular season. The Wild defeated the Jets 6-2, but Winnipeg still leads this series 2-1.

Blake Wheeler scored a bad angle shot 4:50 into the game on the power play for the Winnipeg Jets. Mikael Granlund and Zach Praise each scored a power-play goal for the Minnesota Wild in the first.

Matt Dumba scored for the Wild early in the second period. Tyler Myers scored for the Jets later in the second period. Eric Staal, Jordan Greenway, and Marcus Foligno scored in a span of 3:43 in the second-period for the Minnesota Wild.

Devan Dubnyk made 29 saves for the Wild. Connor Hellebuyck made 16 saves on 22 shots for the Jets. He was pulled in favor of Steve Mason and Mason stopped all seven shots he faced. Game 4 will be on Tuesday Night in Minnesota.
