2017 World Series
With the MLB season starting today, I will share my World Series prediction. From the American League, I like the Red Sox to cruise to the pennant. Their pitching is dynamite. Chris Sale and David Price are both aces, and oh yeah, they also have the reigning Cy Young Award winner - Rick Porcello. When the calendar turns October, an offensive team can turn cold in an instant. Elite pitching always seems to trump hot-hitting come the postseason. From the National League, I like the Cubs. Their roster is so deep and they are young enough they will continue to improve. After going 108 years without a World Series Title, the Chicago Cubs will defeat the Boston Red Sox in the 2017 World Series on their way to back-to-back championships.
