Beast Mode to Oakland

Marshawn Lynch is coming home. He grew up in Oakland, went to the University of California, then was drafted by the Bills before being traded to the Seahawks. He was a key cog in Seattle's Super Bowl run, but surprisingly stepped away from the game prior to last season.

The Seahawks still held the rights to the 31-year-old running back so the Raiders had to swap a fifth round pick for a sixth rounder in exchange for Lynch. Not too much, but is it even worth it?

The Raiders are certainly a team on the rise. Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Khalil Mack.....Oakland has some dudes. They also possess, by most measures, the second best offensive line in football, just behind the Cowboys. This component is why I think Marshawn has a chance to taste some serious success in the Bay. Yes, he is 31, just a year younger than AP, but he is coming off of a year in which he got his body right. If Marshawn Lynch is the Marshawn Lynch we have come to love, you know Beast Mode, watch out NFL, the Raiders are Super Bowl contenders.
