Big Baller Brand Review

I am half ashamed and half proud to admit this fact, I ordered a Big Baller Brand hoodie from the website. Yes, I bought a sweatshirt from the company whose owner might possibly be the most polarizing figure in ALL of sports today, Lavar Ball. There is no doubt he has had a large impact on the sport of basketball, whether or not it has been negative is up for debate. He's outspoken, rash, and some would say mentally insane due to making his eldest son, Lonzo, a target in the NBA and pulling his other two sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo, out of school and into Lithuania of all places to play basketball. He's influential for sure, but that's not the point of this article.

So, I bought a BBB hoodie, I'll admit that. The reason? I had some money for my birthday, and so I wondered how it would be to actually order one of these things. Once I told people I did this, the responses were quite varied. Some people were disappointed in me, others thought I was joking, and some were actually proud of me. I ordered a hoodie, it was $60. Seems expensive, but to be quite fair I have seen worse looking hoodies for more money. So I figured, why not? Nothing to lose.

I ordered it on October 16, and my birthday is November 1, so I expected it by my birthday. It didn't come. In fact, I got no word from them on WHEN it would be delivered. I thought, naturally, that I got scammed out of $60 plus shipping. I was not very happy but it was around my birthday so I wasn't going to let it upset me. I was enjoying my birthday, and four days later, it actually arrived. I was shocked, but I tore it open to try it on.

To be quite honest, I was surprised by the quality of this hoodie. It had the logo largely print on the front of the chest, and I checked the tag to see the material and I saw the BBB logo, so I knew this was genuine. I also knew it was genuine by the fact that it said it was made of, I kid you not, "60% cotton, 40% polyester, and 100% big baller." Naturally. It is a very comfortable hoodie, and when I put it in the washer and dryer (and it shrunk because it's cotton, annoying but what are you gonna do) it came out completely fine. No cheap pressed on logo that was beginning to peal off after one trip in the washer, felt good as new. The inside of the sweatshirt is soft and comfortable, and I actually wear it often. I have no shame I promise.

Overall, if I had the money, I would order something else. I am in no way encouraging you to buy one, I am simply stating what I think about the company based on my experience with it. Delivery was a little suspect, but I ended up getting the sweatshirt and being happy with it. Not bad at all for a company run by the Ball family.
