One Sentence To Describe Each Teams Football Season

Optional...

Cincinnati: Is it December 7th yet?: Bearcat fans have been screaming to fire head coach Tommy Tuberville since last season. After being picked to finish 2nd in the East division, UC is in a tie for last and won just one conference game this season.  His latest blunder came in the last game of the year as Cincinnati spoiled a 17 point lead and fell to Tulsa in overtime. After December 7th it will cost almost 1.2 million dollars less to fire Tuberville, so that is why they have to wait.

Central Florida: 0-12 to 6-6.  UCF fans feel this season should of been even better to. Scott Frost is a great young coach and Central Florida will be a force in the league the next couple years.

East Carolina: Throw it to Zay please:  Zay Jones broke the all time NCAA record for receptions.  Who help the record previously? Former Pirate Justin Hardy.  As predicted it was a rough first year with Scottie Montgomery, but Jones was a very bright spot this and plus they did beat North Carolina State this year.  Things are looking up in Greenville.

Houston: Tom Herman isn't LEAVING!?!: After starting out unbeaten rumors began to swirl that Houston head coach Tom Herman would be headed else where. After a beat down on Louisville, the rumors are now louder than ever.  It all started at Thanksgiving Diner when HornsDigest.com reporter that Herman will be making a deal with LSU on Saturday.  Since then, I've seen about 15 different "sources" say so many different things.  Unfortunately, I don't see how Herman is still at Houston at the end of the season.

Memphis: No Fuente No Problems: After going 9-4 last year and losing their coach this season was not expected to have the same success, but first year head coach Mike Norvell can get that team to the same mark with a win in their bowl game after knocking off Houston in a thriller on Friday.

Navy: Back up QB's can play to: Starting QB Tago Smith went down in their first game of the season against Forhdam.  Now Navy finds them ranked in the CFP rankings at now #25 and could possibly be playing in a New Years 6 bowl with back up QB Will Worth. When you run the option you are used to dealing with the injuries that come with it. Navy has already punched their ticket to the AAC Championship game.

Temple: Back to Back: With an established running game, a returning QB, and a pretty good defense the Owls have been tough to beat this year. After falling in their first game against Army, Temple has won out except for one game. They have won the East Division the first two years it has been in existence and can win the American on Saturday when they play Navy.

Tulane: Maybe #Fritzmas wasn't as good as we thought: Many Tulane fans started using this hashtag in honor of their new coach Willie Fritz.  After starting the season 3-2 it looked like Fritz could do the unthinkable and get this team to a bowl game, but the Wave have lost 6 straight an are the only winless team in AAC play. Don't get me wrong, Fritz will end up being successful at Tulane, but Nick Saben wasn't getting this team to six wins. Wave will be a force in the American in about 2-3 years.

Tulsa: A running game helps a lot: We already new Dane Evans could throw the ball, but now the Golden Hurricane have added a run game an are even more dynamic on the offensive side of the ball.  James Flanders and De'Angelo Brewer are some of the best in the American. Both have gotten over 200 carries for 1,200 yards.  Phillip Montgomery is changing the culture in Tulsa.

South Florida: Quinton Flowers is a monster: USF not boast the 5th best rushing attack in the nation with an average of 292 rush yards a game. Combine the QB Flowers with two great running backs in Marlon Mack and D'Ernest Johnson.  Not to mention Flowers can throw the ball as well.  South Florida is the 8th best offense scoring wise putting up over 43 points a game.  Flowers is the reason why this team is 10-2.

UConn: Any chance Bob Diaco gets fired?: After going to a bowl game last year the UConn Huskies have gone from a decent team to a horrible team.  Diaco had serious problems at QB and the team scored just 20 points in their final four games.  Diaco is not going anywhere because he just signed an extension, but man was this a bad football team.  Huskies wound up winning just one conference game and three wins total with one of those coming against FCS Maine.
