Clippers & Spurs May Be A Western Finals Preview

Who would've thought that the Clippers would have among the league's best defenses, if not the best defense, while the offensive side of the ball is struggling. It may be just five games in, and the offense will fall into place, afterall, with Chris Paul at the helm, but if they can keep up the defensive intensity, the Clippers may very well have assembled their best team, and best chances of getting Larry.

San Antonio will be one of the teams in the way, even without the services of, arguably, the greatest power forward to ever step foot on a professional basketball court, as Tim Duncan decided to call it quits. Gregg Popovich still has the services of Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili at his disposal, while also adding Pau Gasol to a side already featuring Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge, one of the league's best forward tandems.

The early season show down is sure to provide some fireworks and will come down to match-ups and how well adjustments are made from the two headmen. Can MBah A Moute stay in front of Kawhi and will Paul finally get the Clippers offense to click?

Find out this evening on NBA TV.
