The MLS Individual Team Mount Rushmore

I was reading over past articles on various soccer sites and came across an MLS Mount Rushmore for each MLS club (I`m sorry that I can`t remember who wrote it, but it was really interesting). So I was sitting on my couch thinking, reading, and I was pondering who would be on my Mount Rushmore for each MLS team. It was a very interesting process looking at statistics and thinking about whose presence is forever connected with a club. Some clubs like NYCFC and Orlando City were quite easy to figure out due to their short history. But then there were club like FC Dallas and the New York Red Bulls who have had such a long history sense the leagues beginning in 1996. I have excluded Minnesota United FC and Atlanta United FC as of right now since they don't have a full season under their belt.

Chicago Fire, 1998-Present

1x MLS Cup Winner (1998)

1x MLS Supporter Shield Winner (2003)

4x U.S. Open Cup Winner (1998, 2000, 2003, 2006)

C.J. Brown (1998-2010)

Chris Armas (1998-2007)

Zach Thorton (1998-2006)

Ante Razov (1998-2000, 2001-2004)

The Chicago Fire have been in the league for a very long time. It may be surprising to hear that the Fire were once a pretty good team in the league. C.J. Brown was part of a Chicago Fire team that won an MLS Cup, a Supporter Shield, four U.S. Open Cup`s. He has been a part of literally all the Fire`s success and was a great defender in the process. Brown was a great centerback that played in 296 games for the Fire. Chris Armas was a great midfielder for the Fire. He played in 214 games for the Fire scoring 8 goals over that time. Obviously not a huge offensive threat but still one of the greats in Fire history. Armas was with C.J. Brown in being a part of the whole Chicago Fire success. Thorton being a goalkeeper makes it difficult for him being a part of a Mount Rushmore but he was a key feature in Fire history. Thorton featured in 215 games for the Fire and in doing so he won the clubs only MLS Cup, only Supporter Shield, and four U.S. Open Cups. Finally, we have Ante Razov. Razov had two stints with the Fire and which totaled 76 goals in 156 games. All four of these players were key pieces in all of the club`s major awards.

Chivas USA, 2005-2014

0x MLS Cup Winner

0x MLS Suppoerter Shield Winner

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

Johnathan Bornstein (2006-2010)

Brad Guzan (2005-2008)

Sacha Kljestan (2006-2010)

Ante Razov (2006-2009)

First off we have leftback Jonathan Bornstein who totaled 9 goals in 123 appearances. Bornstein was a key feature in the Chivas USA backline. The club never won any awards in their brief MLS history but Bornstein was a very good player for this club and in league history. Next we have current USMNT goalkeeper Brad Guzan. Guzan was the starting keeper for Chivas USA for 79 matches in history. Guzan`s success at Chivas developed into a career in England. The third player is current Red Bull midfielder Sacha Kljestan. Kljestan scored 15 goals in 114 appearances but was even better as a playmaker in the midfield. Finally, we have a repeat player in Ante Razov. Razov played in 76 matches for Chivas USA scoring a total of 30 goals which is extremely impressive.

Colorado Rapids, 1996-Present

1x MLS Cup Winner (2010)

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

Conor Casey (2007-2012)

Pablo Mastroeni (2002-2013)

Drew Moor (2009-2015)

Chris Henderson (1996-1998, 2002-2005)

Conor Casey`s career was spent most at the Rapids. Casey played in 119 games with the Rapids scoring a total of 50 goals. The Rapids had a tough frontline with Casey leading the way for years. Next, we have current Rapids head coach Pablo Mastroeni. From 2002 to 2013 Mastroeni played in 225 games at defensive midfield scoring a total of 5 goals. Mastroeni is now the current manager of the Rapids. This season he was able to finish second in the West and in the Supporter Shield. In 86 games managing the Rapids he is 26-35-25. Next, we have current TFC centerback Drew Moor. Moor is one of the greats in MLS history playing in 181 games for the club scoring a total of 14 goals. All three players so far (Casey, Mastroeni, and Moor) were part of the club`s MLS Cup season in 2010. Finally, we have Chris Henderson. Henderson had two stints with the club. In his first stint he appeared in 87 games scoring 12 goals. His second stint was a total of 91 games where he scored 19 goals.

Columbus Crew, 1996-Present

1x MLS Cup Winner (2008)

3x MLS Supporter Shield Winner (2004, 2008, 2009)

1x U.S. Open Cup Winner (2002)

Brian McBride (1996-2003)

Chad Marshall (2004-2013)

Guillermo Schelotto (2007-2010)

Jeff Cunningham (1998-2004, 2011)

The Columbus Crew been a solid team in their long history in MLS with all of their awards listed above. First, on my Mount Rushmore for them is striker Brain McBride. McBride played a majority of his MLS career with the Crew making 161 appearances for the club. In those appearances McBride scored a total of 62 goals and 45 assists. McBride is a legend in U.S. soccer history and that is no different in Columbus. Second on my Crew Mount Rushmore is defender Chad Marshall. Marshall was huge this season for the Sounders in their MLS Cup run and you may not believe me but he was even better when he played for the Crew. Marshall played with the Crew for 10 seasons making over 250 appearances. Marshall was a staple in the Crew`s backline and was a huge part of their only ever MLS Cup run in 2008. Next, we have midfielder Guillermo Schelotto. Schelotto played in 102 games with the club, scoring a total of 33 goals and 41 assists. He was the 2008 MVP Award and was a 2x MLS Best XI winner. Even though his time with the club was short he made an immediate and major impact. Finally, we have forward Jeff Cunningham. Cunningham made over 200 appearances for the club in which he scored 62 goals and 44 assists. He was also a feature on the MLS Best XI once with the Crew.

D.C. United, 1996-Present

4x MLS Cup Winner (1996, 1997, 1999, 2004)

4x MLS Supporter Shield Winner (1996, 1999, 2006, 2007)

3x U.S. Open Cup Winner (1996, 2008, 2013)

Ben Olsen (1998-2009)

Jaime Moreno (1996-2002, 2004-2010)

Eddie Pope (1996-2002)

Marco Etcheverry (1996-2003)

Here we have another MLS team that's been in the league since the beginning. D.C. has a long history and they have had plenty of big time players. Ben Olsen was a solid midfielder for United playing for the club for 11 seasons. He made over 220 appearances, scoring 29 goals and 49 assists. Olsen was a Rookie of the Year in 1998 and a MLS Best XI winner in 2007. After his long and great career with United he became the manager for D.C. As a manager Olsen has won a U.S. Open Cup and a MLS Coach of the Year Award in 2014. Next on D.C.`s Mount Rushmore is forward Jaime Moreno. Moreno played 14 of his 15 MLS seasons with D.C. in his time with the club he played in 329 games, scored 131 goals and 102 assists. Moreno will go down as a legend for both D.C. United and MLS. Third, we have defender Eddie Pope. Pope is another one of those USMNT legends who also made an impact in MLS. Pope played in 143 games for United and was part of a backline that won three MLS Cups, two Supporter Shields and a U.S. Open Cup. Finally on D.C.`s Mount Rushmore is Marco Etcheverry. Etcheverry is one of the best MLS has ever seen and in 191 games for D.C. he scored 34 goals and 101 assists. The midfielder holds the D.C. record for most ever games and assists.

FC Dallas/Dallas Burn, 1996-Present

0x MLS Cup Winner

1x MLS Supporter Shield Winner (2016)

2x U.S. Open Cup Winner (1997 & 2016)

Jason Kreis (1996-2004)

Oscar Pareja (1998-2005)

Fabian Castillo (2011-2016)

Bobby Rhine (1999-2008)

When they first entered the league FC Dallas was originally the Dallas Burn. A few seasons later they are now the FC Dallas that we know and love. Their Mount Rushmore is filled with four players who most MLS fans should know. First, we have current Orlando City head coach Jason Kreis. Kreis made 247 appearances for Dallas and scored a total of 91 goals. Kreis was a huge talent in the league and was able to win something with his time in Dallas (a U.S. Open Cup). Next, we have the current manager of FC Dallas Oscar Pareja. Pareja was a very good player for some of you who might not remember. Pareja was a midfielder who played in 179 games with Dallas. In those games he scored only 13 goals but his true mark was as a playmaker. He totaled 47 assist and was a skilled passer. Pareja has developed a style of play and a great youth system as the current manager of FC Dallas. This season he was able to win two of the major three award in U.S. club play (the U.S. Open Cup and the Supporter Shield). This next player might hurt for FC Dallas fans but please listen. Fabian Castillo is one of the best players found by Oscar Pareja. In six seasons with FC Dallas Castillo was able to make 159 appearances scoring 34 goals and 30 assists. He was quietly a star when in MLS and was key to Dallas`s success in recent history. The fourth member of FC Dallas`s Mount Rushmore is midfielder Bobby Rhine. Rhine played his entire 10 year career with Dallas playing in 212 games. He scored 23 goals in total and adding 34 assists. Rhine will always be remember in FC Dallas fans hearts for his great solidity in the midfield.

Houston Dynamo, 2006-Present

2x MLS Cup Winner (2006, 2007)

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

Brad Davis (2006-2015)

Corey Asche (2007-2015)

Will Bruin (2011-2016)

Brian Ching (2006-2013)

The Dynamo will be playing their 11th season in MLS in 2017. They have some stars play for them since joining the league in 2006. There is one person that jumps right out to Houston fans and that is midfielder Brad Davis. Davis played in 271 games for the Dynamo totaling 41 goals and 104 assists. Davis`s left foot is absolutely legendary and all Houston fans should have a picture of it framed on their wall. Next, we have defender Corey Asche. Asche played in 211 games for the Dynamo and was a member of their 2007 MLS Cup winning team. Next, we have recently traded forward Will Bruin. Bruin played in 178 games for the club scoring a total of 50 goals and 20 assists. Bruin has been a starting forward for this club since joining the league and he will be missed next season. The fourth and final member of the Mount Rushmore is forward Brian Ching. Ching played with Houston from 2006 to 2013 and in that time he scored 56 goals and 22 assists. Ching might be the biggest name to ever play for Houston and he played like it.

Los Angeles Galaxy, 1996-Present

5x MLS Cup Winner (2002, 2005, 2011, 2012, 2014)

4x MLS Supporter Shield Winner (1998, 2002, 2010, 2011)

2x U.S. Open Cup Winner (2001, 2005)

Landon Donovan (2005-2014, 2016)

Robbie Keane (2011-2016)

Omar Gonzalez (2009-2015)

Cobi Jones (1996-2007)

Here is one of the hardest teams I had to come up with four players for. Not because there wasn`t four really good players but because they have had so many talented players. First and foremost we have Landon Donovan. When you get the MVP award named after you then you know you're good. Donovan played in 276 games for LA, scoring 119 goals and 117 assists for the club. Besides putting up outrageous numbers, Donovan won four MLS Cups, two Supporter Shields, and one U.S. Open Cup. Next, we have the Irishman! Robbie Keane could go down as the best DP in MLS history. Keane has played in 125 games for the Galaxy totaling 83 goals and 45 assists. Keane was a key factor in their 2011, 2012, and 2014 MLS Cup wins. Keane dominated the league the moment he stepped on the field for LA. Third, we have centerback Omar Gonzalez. Omar is a tall defender that was arguably the best defender in the league from 2009-2015. Gonzalez lead a dominant backline over 180 games that included three MLS Cup wins. The final member of the star studded Galaxy Mount Rushmore is midfielder Cobi Jones. Jones was a constant feature in LA`s lineups playing in over 300 games for the club. Jones was able to win two MLS Cups with the Galaxy over his time there.

Miami Fusion, 1998-2001

0x MLS Cup Winner

1x MLS Supporter Shield Winner (2001)

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

Jay Heaps (1999-2001)

Pablo Mastroeni (1998-2001)

Diego Serna (1998-2001)

Alex Chacon (2001)

I bet you not many people would believe that the Miami Fusion were once a MLS team. But they were... only for four seasons. This was a tough team to pick for due to the shear lack of players for this club. But we do have two current MLS coaches that made this Mount Rushmore. The first of those head coaches is Revs manager Jay Heaps. Heaps played his first three seasons in MLS with the Fusion and was an instant starter. Heaps played in 71 games over his three seasons and impressed everyone around the league. His success in Miami lead him to a long career in New England. The second player and second head coach of the Miami Fusion Mount Rushmore is Pablo Mastroeni. Mastroeni played with the Fusion from 1998-2001. He played in 100 games for Miami over the span over their entire existence. His performance with Miami lead to a long career in Colorado for him. The third player for Miami is forward Diego Serna. Serna dominated in his time with Miami. He played in 100 games with the club and in total scored 52 goals. Serna was very versatile for the club and arguably the best player in their short history. The final player for the Fusion`s Mount Rushmore is a guy who only played for the club for one season. Alex Chacon was a midfielder that in 25 games for the club scored 19 goals and 9 assists (and you thought what Lodiero did for Seattle was crazy!). Though it was only one season with Miami, the short lifespan of the club really hurts them here.

Montreal Impact, 2012-Present

0x MLS Cup Winner

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

2x Canadian Championship Winner

Ignacio Piatti (2014-2017)

Hassoun Camara (2012-2017)

Marco Di Vaio (2012-2014)

Patrice Bernier (2000-2002, 2012-2017)

The Montreal Impact have only been in the league for a few seasons now but they are seemingly out of expansion quality. The first player on their Mount Rushmore is going to be the best player on their roster right now, Igancio Piatti. Piatti lead this team last season to a thrilling Eastern Conference Championship game and is probably their most dominant player in club history. He has played 70+ games with the club recording 35+ goals and 15+ assists. Next, we have another current Impact player, Hassoun Camara. Camara has played in over 100 games for the club and has been a constant figure on a backline that has won two Canadian Championships. My third player is current Impact midfielder Patrice Bernier. Bernier has played 130+ games for the Impact and has been a crucial starter every year. His knowledge and experience was even needed this postseason. He is a very good passer who has recorded 20+ assists for the club. My fourth and final player is someone who isn`t currently on the roster. Marco Di Vaio is the best forward in Impact history. Di Vaio scored a total of 34 goals in 76 games and in 2013 was awarded to MLS`s Best XI and was also a finalist for MVP.

New England Revolution, 1996-Present

0x MLS Cup Winner

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

1x U.S. Open Cup Winner (2007)

Taylor Twellman (2002-2010)

Jay Heaps (2001-2009)

Sharlie Joseph (2003-2012, 2014)

Matt Reis (2003-2013)

The Revs are one of the original clubs in MLS history, so there is plenty of players here to choose from. The first player is a guy who now commentates for the league over on ESPN. Taylor Twellman spent his entire career with the Revs and in 174 games with the club he scored an astonishing 101 goals and 28 assists. Twellman broke many records with his time in MLS and will go down as one of the best scorers in league history. The next man on this Mount Rushmore is someone we have seen already. Jay Heaps was a very good defender and played for nine seasons in New England. Heaps played in over 240 games for the Revs and goes down as the best defender in Revs history. Heaps is also currently the manager of the Revs. He has managed 115 games for the Revs with 39 wins, 44 losses, and 32 draws. My third player is midfielder Sharlie Joseph. Joseph played with the Revs for 11 seasons and in doing so scored 37 goals and 34 assists. Joseph was a midfielder that held possession and made players around him much better. The final Revs player on this Mount Rushmore is Matt Reis. Reis is only the second goal keeper to be names to a Mount Rushmore. Reis played in net for 254 games as a Rev. He only allowed 331 goals as a Rev which puts his goals allowed per game at 1.3. Reis was always solid in the net for the Revs and in my opinion the best keeper in their history.

New York City FC, 2015-Present

0x MLS Cup Winner

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

David Villa (2015-2017)

Andrea Pirlo (2015-2017)

Josh Saunders (2015-2016)

RJ Allen (2015-2017)

NYCFC has only had two and a half seasons in MLS so the names on here probably won't surprise you. The best player in the history is without a doubt forward David Villa. Villa has scored 45+ goals in 70+ games for the club. He also won the MVP in 2016 leading the team to their first ever playoff appearance. The second player on NYCFC`s Mount Rushmore is an Italian legend, Andrea Pirlo. In 50+ games for NYCFC Pirlo has only scored one goal BUT he has recorded 16 assists. Pirlo is a playmaker and that is exactly what he does for Villa in front of him. The third player on my NYCFC Mount Rushmore is goalkeeper Josh Saunders. Saunders has played in 66 games for NYCFC recording a total of 12 shutouts. Saunders`s goals allowed per game with NYC is 1.7 which is a little high but still under 2. The final player in this Mount Rushmore is rightback RJ Allen. Allen is a very good defender who is able to push up the field and bolster the attack. Allen is an impressive passer and in 40+ games for the club has recorded 8 assists.

New York Red Bulls/Metro Stars, 1996-Present

0x MLS Cup Winner

2x MLS Supporter Shield Winner (2013, 2015)

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

Bradley Wright-Phillips (2013-2017)

Luis Robles (2012-2017)

Juan Pablo Angel (2007-2010)

Thierry Henry (2010-2014)

The New York Red Bulls have had so many stars come through their doors since the start of MLS in 1996. First on their Mount Rushmore is their current star striker Bradley Wright-Phillips. "BWP" has played in over 120 games during his Red Bull career. In that time he has scored 70+ goals and 10+ assists. "BWP" has moved into the all time leading scorer in Red Bulls history as well! Also during his time in New Jersey BWP has won the Golden Boot once, been an All Star once, and also made it to the MLS Best XI Team once. Next, we have another current player, goalkeeper Luis Robles. Robles has played in 150+ games for the Red Bulls recording over 450 saves. His all time record in net is 72 wins, 46 losses, and 37 ties. Robles has also been a Goal Keeper of the Year once during his time there. Third on the NYRB Mount Rushmore is Juan Pablo Angel. Angel was a one time MLS Best XI player as a Red Bull. In 102 games for the club he scored 58 goals and 14 assists. Finally, we have the star Frenchman, Thierry Henry. Besides all of his other worldwide honors Henry was a four time MLS All Star and a three time MLS Best XI Player. In 122 games for NYRB he scored 51 goals and had 42 assists.

Orlando City SC, 2015-Present

0x MLS Cup Winner

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

Kaka (2015-2017)

Cyle Larin (2015-2017)

Brek Shea (2015-2016)

Joe Bendik (2016-2017)

The legendary Kaka is a non-surprising face on the Mount Rushmore for OCSC. In 60+ games for the club he has been a factor in the middle of the field. Kaka has scored 20+ goals for the Lions while assisting on 15+ goals. Though he is older, he has been a two time MLS All-Star. Next, we have the Canadian Messi himself, Cyle Larin. In 2015 Larin won the MLS Rookie of the Year while putting up record statistics. Larin has also been a one time All Star. In 70+ games for the Lions, Larin has scored around 40 goals and assisted on 4 goals as well. Next, we have the defender/winger Brek Shea who was recently traded away for Giles Barnes. Shea played 46 games for Orlando City scoring 3 goals and 6 assists. Shea played a combination of leftback, midfielder, and left winger for the club and was arguably the most versatile player for them. Finally, we have keeper Joe Bendik. Bendik is the best keeper in OCSC history... not that there is much competition. But, Bendik has been very good for them, starting 35+ games for them. Bendik over 150 saves and a record 16 wins, 16 losses, and 17 ties.

Philadelphia Union

0x MLS Cup Winner

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

Zac MacMath (2011-2015)

Sebastien LeToux (2010-2011, 2013-2016)

Jack McInerney (2010-2014)

Sheanon Williams (2010-2015)

All four of these guys still play in MLS, just not for the Union. First, we have the current keeper for the Rapids, Zac MacMath. MacMath played in over 110 games for the Union and in that time he was able to accumulate 33 wins, 28 of those coming as shutouts. Next, we have the leading scorer in U.S. Open Cup history, Sebastian Le Toux. Le Toux is a fan favorite for Union fans playing in 175 games for the club. In his 175 games he recorded 50 goals and 50 assists. He was also a one time All Star and a one time MLS Best XI player. One good winger makes way for another as Jack McInerney makes the Union's Mount Rushmore. Jack Mac played in 95 games for the Union scoring a total of25 goals and 4 assists. As of 2017 he is the best forward in their history. Finally, we have the rightback Sheanon Williams. Williams played in over 140 games at rightback for the club and is the best defender that has ever played for the Union.

Portland Timbers, 2011-Present

1x MLS Cup Winner (2015)

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

Fanendo Adi (2014-2017)

Diego Valeri (2013-2017)

Darlington Nagbe (2011-2017)

Jack Jewsbury (2011-2016)

The 6'4 striker has made an impact in only his fourth season with the club. Adi has played in over 100 games for the club scoring close to 50 goals and assisting on 10+ goals as well. Adi may be the best striker to ever play for the Timbers but now we can move on the arguably the best midfielder in Timbers history, Diego Valeri. Valeri has now played 120+ games for the Timbers. In these games he's has scored 45+ goals and 45+ assists. He is a masterful passer and one of the best players in the league when healthy. Valeri is a one time MLS All Star and a two time MLS Best XI player. Some people say that he competes with Darlington Nagbe as best midfielder in club history. Nagbe has been with the club since its creation in 2011 and has played close to 200 games with the club. In his 200 he has scored 25+ goals and 25+ assists. The young American midfielder is skilled with the ball at his feet and plays a huge amount of minutes in each of his seven seasons with the club. Nagbe is also a one time MLS All Star. The final player on the Timbers Mount Rushmore is defensive midfielder Jack Jewsbury. Jewsbury is constantly known as a solid defensive midfielder and played well in front of the Timbers backline. In six seasons with the Timbers Jewsbury played in over 145 games scoring a total of 14 goals and 16 assists.

Real Salt Lake, 2005-Present

1x MLS Cup Winner (2009)

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

0x U.S. Open Cup Winner

Javier Morales (2007-2016)

Kyle Beckerman (2007-2017)

Nick Rimando (2007-2017)

Joao Plata (2013-2017)

The easiest selection for the RSL Mount Rushmore is Javier Morales, one of the better DP's in recent history. Morales played in 231 games for the club scoring 49 goals and 81 assists. The two time all star's passing ability is unmatched in RSL history and is the best attacking midfielder we will see in a while from them. The next player (and another midfielder) is Mr. Dreadlocks himself, Kyle Beckerman. Becks is a defensive midfielder that has been with RSL for now ten seasons. Beckerman has played in over 250 games for RSL scoring 26 goals and 33 assists. Another USMNT player and teammate of Beckerman that makes this list is keeper Nick Rimando. Besides being the best keeper in MLS history, Rimando has spent 10 seasons with the club. Rimando has made 279 appearances in net while doing so becoming a five time MLS All Star. The final member of the RSL Mount Rushmore is Joao Plata. Plata has played in 95+ games for the club scoring 25+ games and 25+ assists for the club. A very underrated forward for RSL deserves to make the Mount Rushmore.

John Doyle (1996-2000)

Wondolowski is the biggest name in San Jose history. The guy just has a knack for scoring. He has played in more than 220 games for SJ recording a total of 220 goals and 28 assists. Wondo can score from any position and Earthquake fans know it. Wondo is a two time Golden Boot winner, three time MLS Best XI player, one time MLS MVP, and a one time All Star. Next on the SJ Mount Rushmore is keeper Joe Cannon. Cannon has played in 171 games and in doing so became a two time Goal Keeper of the Year and a one time MLS Best XI. Next to Cannon is forward Ronald Cerritos. Cerritos was a one time MLS Best XI player of the year during his time with SJ. In 148 games he scored 61 goals and 47 assists. The final San Jose player is defender John Doyle. Doyle played in 132 games between 1996-2000. Doyle racked up over 11,000 minutes for the club scoring 11 goals and 15 assists.

Seattle Sounders, 2009-Present

Evans has played in 189 games for the club and in doing so has scored 18 goals and 26 assists. His versatility has been key to his success with the Sounders career. The super Canadian Davy Arnaud played in 240 games with Kansas City in which he scored 43 goals and 35 assists. Arnuad was one of the more underrated players around the league during his playing days as he was a very capable multi-roled midfielder. Next, is former winger but current rightback Graham Zusi. Roy Lassiter (1996-1998)

Scott Garlick (1999-2001)

Tampa Bay is another forgotten MLS club in its long history but that doesn't mean it didn't have its stars. The Mutiny's first player on their Mount Rushmore is the legendary Carlos Valderrama. Valderrama is a one time MVP for TB. In 114 games for the Mutiny he scored 12 goals and 81 assists. Next, is midfielder Steve Ralston. Ralston won the Rookie of the Year award in 1996, was a two time MLS Best XI player, and a one time MLS All Star for Tampa Bay. Dwayne De Rosario (2009-2011, 2014)

Sebastian Giovinco (2015-2017)

Jim Brennan (2007-2010)

First, we have a keeper who probably stalled TFC's first ever MLS Cup as a member of the Sounders and that's Stefan Frei. Frei played in 99 games for TFC recording a total of 27 clean sheets. Frei was there for a few years and is the best keeper in the clubs existence. Next, we have the greatest Canadian I have ever seen play soccer and that is Dwayne De Rosario. De Rosario played in 98 games for the club scoring a total of 33 goals. The original Canadian Messi only had 10 assists for the club but he was also a one time All Star as a member of TFC. Next, we have the Atomic Ant himself, Sebastian Giovinco. Giovinco may go down as the greatest DP of all time. Giovinco dominated from day one in MLS and for TFC he has played in 70+ games. In those games he has scored 45+ goals and 30+ assists. The guy is one of the best talents to step on an MLS field and in his short time has won an MLS Golden Boot, MLS Newcomer of the Year, and MLS MVP, he is a one time MLS Best XI player, and a two time All Star. Finally, we have defender Jim Brennan. Brennan played in 84 games for the club and was one of the more dominant defenders of his time. Vancouver Whitecaps, 2011-Present

0x MLS Cup Winner

0x MLS Supporter Shield Winner

1x Canadian Championship Winner (2015)

Pedro Morales (2014-2016)

David Ousted (2013-2017)

Jordan Harvey (2011-2017)

Camilo Sanvezzo (2011-2013)

The attacking midfielder Pedro Morales is one of the best DP signing for Vancouver since the club began in 2011. Morales scored 25 goals and 22 assists in 83 games for the club. All Whitecap fans know Morales and what he brought to the club during his time. The Whitecaps signed keeper David Ousted in 2013 and has taken the reigns for the longest in Vancouver history. Ousted has played in 120+ games for the club recording over 45 wins and around 40 shutouts. Third, we have current leftback Jordan Harvey. Having a fullback make a Mount Rushmore is difficult as we don't see many good ones on an MLS field. Harvey has now played in over 160 games for the club scoring 9 goals and 8 assists. The long time defender will go down as one of the best in club history for a long time. Finally, we have Camilo Sanvezzo who was a one time All Star and one time Golden Boot winner for the Caps. Sanvezzo played in 92 games for the club recording a total of 39 goals and 16 assists. For a team that has never really had a dominant forward he will go down as the best in Caps history right now.
