Here are two quick updates in the rumor mill.

Another Option: According to Sam Amico of amicohoops.net, Portland Trail Blazers has signified their intention of acquiring Nerlens Noel from the 76ers. Nerlens continue to show his unhappiness with the current direction of the franchise so a trade this season is getting likelier as the days go by.

- Portland has a lot of interesting pieces that they can offer for Nerlens. Philidalphia could be searching for a 1st round pick but I doubt Portland will give their own. Portland has the 2018 1st of Cleveland which you can partner with some 2nd round picks and Shabazz Napier. That is a good package for a limited offensive bigman who has a lot of injury concern.

Holding-on: New York is rumored to be structuring a contract-extension for their offseason acquisition, Derrick Rose. According to the rumblings, it will be a three-years extension, worth above $50 million in total.

- I am pretty sure Derrick's production has exceeded the expectation of a lot of people. He is currently contributing 16.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 43.7% FG. He has not miss a single game and if he can sustain his health, every dollar of that rumored extension will be worth it.
