Jurgen Klopp won't win Liverpool the premier league title- says Dietmar Hamann

Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann believes the Reds won't be winning the premier league title despite the quality of players now plying their trade in Anfield.

Liverpool are joint top with Manchester city and Arsenal with 23 points after winning 7 matches out of their last 10 games.

But Hamann who played a key part in Liverpool winning the 2005 Champions League trophy is of the opinion that Liverpool will only challenge for the title but not win it.

Discussing with Omnisport, Hamann said: "They've got a chance but so have four or five other teams. I don't think there is an awful lot between the teams.

"You've got Man United who don't look capable right now, but they've got a good squad and if they click then maybe they could be the sixth team joining the title race."

Presently, the Reds have the best attacking line up in the premier league, the best midfielder enforcer in Jordan Henderson (he is the premier league's best passer according sqawka) as well as quality defenders who are conceding less goals than before.

"I think it's as open as it has been and Liverpool are one of the teams. You can make the case to say they have achieved the most, if you look at the teams they have played so far. I don't think they will win the league, but they'll have a chance."

Liverpool will play Watford next at Anfield on Saturday and they could top the premier league table if Arsenal and Manchester City draw or lose..
