NFL Teams Have Concerns Over Colin Kaepernick's Full Vegan Diet

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers

In the latest news surrounding free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick, NFL teams are concerned that Kaepernick is not focused on football because of his new vegan diet. He has decided to go full vegan and team owners are running the other direction. Why team owners would feel this way about Kaepernick's diet is beyond me, especially since Tom Brady has been playing well on his vegan diet. Tom Brady could easily play 5,6,7 more years if continues to take care of his body.

I believe the more likely reason Kaepernick has not found a new home is because he is asking for around $10 million a year and wants to start. The fact that he has decided to fight back by shedding light on real racial issues and speaking against social norms in the United States makes team owners even more uncomfortable.

Per Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area, several teams are "unconvinced" about Kaepernick's commitment to football and "wonder" about his vegan lifestyle.
