Colby Rasmus and the Tampa Bays agree to a deal

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Outfielder Colby Rasmus has a found a home in Tampa Bay. He is projected now to man left field, back up Gold Glove center fielder Kevin Kiermaier and could have some DH at bats here and there.

Rasmus slashed .206/.286/.355 in 417 plate appearances. FanGraphs' steamer projects Rasmus to be above 14 home runs once again, a number he has hit more than since coming up to the show with the St. Louis Cardinals.

Coming off a groin injury to end his season, he seems like the perfect bounce back candidate for the Rays.
