2017 Gold Cup Quarterfinals from Philadelphia Preview

Philadelphia PA: The Knockout round of the 2017 Gold cup makes its way to Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia on Wednesday Night for the Quarterfinals and it features 2 interesting games as USA plays El Salvador and Costa Rica plays Panama. This will be the 2nd time that the city of Philadelphia will be hosting a Gold Cup game, Back in 2015 it hosted the Finals of the Gold Cup which saw Mexico defeat Jamaica.

Here is how the 4 teams made their way to the city of Philadelphia for the Quarterfinals

Panama road to Philly comes out of Group B:
1. Draw vs USA from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee
2. Win vs Nicaragua from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida
3. Win vs Martinique from FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio

USA Road to Philly came from Group B:
1. Draw vs Panama from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee
2. Win vs Martinique from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida
3. Win vs Nicaragua from FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio

Costa Rica road to South Philly in Group A:
1. Win vs Honduras from Red Bull Arena in New Jersey
2. Draw vs Canada from BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas
3. Win vs French Guiana from Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas

El Salvador road to Philly from Group C:
1. Loss to Mexico from Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California,
2. Win vs Curacuso from Sports Authority Field in Denver, Colorado
3. DRAW vs Jamica from Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas

The Winner of these games will be heading to the Semifinals at ATT Stadium in Arlington Texas on July 22 at 9:30 PM
