2017 MLB Power Rankings: Week 1

Welcome back to my Week 1 Power Rankings of the season, it was a quite a first week with some great games and some shockers! My Rankings will be basic off Monday-Sunday every week even if a team is finishing a weekend series on a Monday like the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers did.
2017 MLB Power Rankings: Week 1, 4/2/17-4/9/17:

1. Chicago Cubs- (4-2) [1], {=} They look like the defending champions they're not undefeated but they've played very well to start their run to a repect. Top ten in team batting average and runs scored.
2. Arizona D-Backs- (6-1), [17], {+15} They're 1st in Team battling average (.313), Team hits (77), runs scored (48), RBIs (44), Doubles (17), stolen bases (9), Team OBP (.369), OPS (.873) and SLG (.504)
3. Baltimore Orioles- (4-1), [13], {+10} They are 2nd in MLB in Team saves (3)
4. Colorado Rockies- (5-2), [16], {+12} They are 1st in Team Strikeouts (Pitching) with 71. They also took two out of three from the LA Dodgers over the weekend.
5. Boston Red Sox- (3-2), [T.2], {-2} They are 8th in the Majors in Team ERA 3.12. Didn't have a good weekend with some of the key guys in the lineup out with the flu and Xander Bogaerts was out for personal reasons.
6. Cleveland Indians- (3-3), [T.2], {-4} They scored 21 runs in the first three games and won them all but then only scored 7 runs and got swept by the D-Backs.
7. Los Angeles Angels- (5-2), [19], {+12} They Started 5-2 including a sweep of the Mariners and epic comeback in the 9th on Sunday afternoon won 10-9!
8. Minnesota Twins- (5-1), [25], {+17} They are 1st in batting average against Pitching) .191 and 1st in team ERA 2.04
9. Houston Astros- (4-3), [5], {-4} They Started off 3-0 but had an awful weekend n lost 2 out of 3 to the KC Royals.
10. Washington Nationals- (3-3), [8], {-2} They got outscored by the Phillies 27-13
this past weekend.
11. Los Angeles Dodgers- (4-3), [6], {-5} They are 2nd in runs scored with 40.
12. Detroit Tigers- (3-2), [14], {+2} They are tied for 10th in HRs with 8
13. Pittsburgh Pirates- (3-2), [15], {+2} They are 9th in Team Batting average (.256)
14. Tampa Bay Rays- (5-2), [24], {+10} They are 14th team Batting average .245.
15. Cincinnati Reds- (4-2), [27], {+12} They are 4th in TEAM ERA (3.06). They took two out three from the Cards in St. Louis that's impressive.
16. Texas Rangers- (2-4), [7], {-9} They're tied for 7th in runs scored with 33.
17. Miami Marlins- (3-3), [21], {+4} They've played fairly well in the top 5 in runs scored (4th) and just took two out three from the NYM on the road.
18. New York Mets- (3-3), [10], {-8} They're 25th in runs scored with 21
19. Philadelphia Phillies- (3-3), [22], {+3} They're tied for 3rd in runs scored with 35 just about half of those came on Saturday when they scored 17 runs (12 in the first innings; which is a new team record for runs in first inning) against the Nationals.
20. San Francisco Giants- (2-5), [4], {-16} The Bullpen already had three blown saves, two in which came on opening day last Sunday.
21. New York Yankees- (2-4), [18], {-3} They are tied for 14th in Team ERA 3.74
22. Kansas City Royals- (2-4), [20], {-2} They got swept by the Minnesota Twins and then won two of three against the Houston Astros. I'm not to sure what to think of them yet.
23. St. Louis Cardinals- (2-4) [9] They haven't been impressive at all 29th in runs scored with 19.
24. Chicago White Sox- (2-3) [30} {+6} I've been somewhat impressive with their start. They have a team ERA of 3.00 which is third in MLB.
25. Toronto Blue Jays- (1-5), [12], {-13} They are 27th in Team Batting average (.201) and in bottom three in runs scored.
26. Milwaukee Brewers- (2-5), [26], {=} The young Brewers bats are third in homeruns that hasn't lead to wins but still impressive. If the pitching can get it together they could maybe surprise people.
27. San Diego Padres- (3-4), [29], {+2} They are tied for most runs allowed with 39
28. Oakland Athletics- (3-4), [28], {=} They are 24th in Team ERA (4.72)
29. Seattle Mariners- (1-6), [11], {-18} They have the Worst Team Batting Average in MLB (.178)
30. Atlanta Braves- (1-5), [23], {-7} They have scored fewest runs the majors with 18.
Raise and Fall:
Biggest Raise: Minnesota Twins- 25th to 8th {+17}
Biggest Fall: Seattle Mariners- 11th to 29th {-18}
