Biggest Raise: Oakland Raiders, 24th to 15th; (+9)
Biggest Fall: Carolina Panthers, 8th to 24th; (-16) Biggest Fall of any team of the season though seven weeks.
Thoughts/Notes on the Power Rankings:
The Philadelphia Eagles right now are still the number one/best in the NFL. I decided to put the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers tied for number two because neither is clearly better than the other and both I believe are the two best in the AFC right now. I dropped the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks one spot because both struggled in their games. After losing two in a row the Kansas City Chiefs drop out of the top five and come in at number six. The Los Angeles Rams stay at number seven as they have a bye week next week. The Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills round out the top ten.
The Bottom five teams are pretty much the same from last week with only one difference and that is the Chicago Bears are no longer in the bottom five as they come in at number 22 as they jump/raise seven spots after their win over the Carolina Panthers. The New York "Football" Giants are now at number 27.
