The Pros and Cons of Re-Signing Sam Bradford Part Two

Yesterday, I had written an article about the Pros and Cons of why the Eagles should re-sign Sam Bradford. I've decided to do a part two as I wanted to add some stats to the pros and cons.

Some of the Pros and Cons stats:

1. Sam Bradford played pretty good in the second half of the season.

Here are second half stats:

2. Bradford is most likely the top 2016 Quarterback Free Agent:

3. A lot of the players want Bradford to return next season.

Quote from Tight End, Zach Ertz:

"Yeah, I think he's excited." Ertz said when asked if he;s talked to Bradford since Eagles hired new head coach Doug Pederson. "He wants to be in Philadelphia. Weather he's back here or not, that's none of my business honestly. He's to what's best for him and the Eagles are going to do what's best for us. But at the end of the day, I think he does want to be here."

4. The Eagles were 7-7 this season with Bradford under center (the Miami Dolphins game he left with an injury).

Cons:

1. Didn't have a good first half of the season.

 2. Bradford isn't worth what he may ask for around $20-25 million per year. Okay maybe he won't ask for $25 more like $18-22 million and he's not even worth over $20 million that's for sure; he's worth about $16-19 million in my opinion. He may ask for about $40-50 million guaranteed. His rookie contract he got $50 million guaranteed that's a lot for a rookie but that was before the rookie cap changed. It changed after the 2010 season and Bradford was the last one to get a huge contract.

Here are some of the other Quarterbacks and what they make per year and the total they got including the guaranteed money.

Finally, dispute the stats I posted, I stand by to what I said he's not worth what he will probably ask for. He will ask for over $20 million because he is the top QB in free agency and guys like Jay Cutler and Tony Romo make $18 million. Also, Ryan Tannehill makes $19 million and Joe Flacco makes $20 million. As I said before he will probably ask for around $18 at least and around $22 at most maybe $23.
