Seton Hall to Battle Arkansas in NCAA Tourney First Round

The Seton Hall Pirates (21-11, 10-8 in Big East) have sealed the #9 seed in the South Region and will face #8 seed Arkansas (25-9, 12-6 in SEC) in the the First Round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament. The game is slated for a 1:30 ET tip (TNT) on Friday, March 17.

Here's what you need to know about the Razorbacks:

1. Storied NCAA Tournament history

30 appearances (2015 most recent), 41-30 overall record

6 Final Four appearances, 1 National Championship

2. They are hot - The SEC Tournament runner-up has won 8 of their last 10 games. In that stretch, Arkansas defeated NCAA Tournament teams South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

3. They can score along the perimeter - Arkansas' top three scorers are all 6'3 guards. Dusty Hannahs (14.6 ppg, 38.5% 3FG) and Daryl Macon (13.3 ppg, 38.6% 3FG) have made over 60 treys each this season.

4. The status of their center could be a major factor - 6'10, 230 pound center Moses Kingsley was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul he committed against Kentucky on Sunday, and a suspension may be in order (no word on when that determination would be made). If Kingsley is able to play, he matches up with Angel Delgado size-wise and averages 11.9 ppg, 7.9 rpg and 2.6 bpg (down from 15.9 ppg, 9.3 rpg and 2.4 bpg last season). If he is out, the Pirates have a major advantage down low.
