Grasping at Positives after GW Loss
It is tough to find a lot of positives following Friday's disappointing 35-2 loss at the hands of GW. Let's start with the points we scored.
After a poor snap, GW QB Grant Wells was being chased by Steven Shine and ultimately tripped up by Lucas Cooper.
However, Hurricane turned the ball over on the next play from scrimmage, and well things disintegrated from there. Although in a game in which the defense surrendered 35 points there were some good stories. J.T. lead the way with 11 tackles his career high. While Lucas Cooper recorded 10 stops and Isiah Thomas had 9.
In all the defense had 11 tackles for loss with Shine leading the way with 5 and Hunter Horn adding 3.
Below is one tackle we all wish Lucas had made on Friday, hurricanefootballfan is sure had he stayed low the big boy would have gone down. Only kidding folks.
Anyway it's time to rinse the bad taste of GW out of our mouths and get ready for the offensive genius that is Scott Tinsley this Friday night in the regular season finale. Surely Coach Tinsley wont be begging for calls like Steve Edwards Jr.
