"21 Shades Of Gray"

Hey Friends,

I know I’ve been MIA for a minute, but I’m back! So excited to fill you guys in on what's been going on in my life. Things have been pretty amazing. The Dream made the playoffs and won a playoff game.

I’m sad we didn’t win another, but last year we didn’t get there so I/we are pleased with the growth! We had our ups, coming out strong at 6-1 and then we had our downs, going on a 6 game losing streak. Winning and losing can both be contagious. This year’s playoff format certainly made things interesting and competitive. I just wish we could have gotten over the hump and gotten a shot at L.A. Here’s to the 2017 season, #squadgoals!

This year, I’ve been asked over and over again, what does year two feel like? How is it different than your rookie season? The answer is, it feels great! It feels like I belong in the WNBA. I was able to go out there and just play, I already had a feel for things. I was more aware of what was going on around me and my role. As a role player, my job requires me to bring that Gray Gray spark and power off the bench. Some nights they need me and some nights they don’t, but I’ve got to be ready either way. Every championship team needs role players, and I’m trying to perfect my role because I love my job and I love being there for my team! One Team, One Mission!

I recognize lasting two years is no small feat, it’s a really big deal! I also recognize the fact that I’m going to have to put in major work to assure myself a third year. #prayforme

I’ll be headed back to Italy soon. This year, I’ll be in Naples.

Look out for more on my Italian adventures and God willing, dominance! Thanks again to everyone for taking time out of your day to support my blog!
