Early Seeds for the NCAA Men's Tournament have been Released.

Hello Everybody, I want everybody to meet this man. This Is Joe LUNARDI, He's the man we hear of at March Madness time. He's also the man who's responsible for ESPN's BRACKTOLOGY at this time of the year. I have nothing but the utmost respect for this fine Gentleman. The Early Seeds for the NCAA Tournament have been released and I agree with Mr. LUNARDI on most of the early Seeds. But I can't in good faith agree with Mr. LUNARDI on some of the Seeds for the Tournament. So With that being said I am going to give you my take on some of the teams and Seeds I Do Support and the Team that's got seeds that I cannot Support in good faith. Let's get started.

The Teams I will agree with: All 4 No.1 seeds   Villanova, Kansas, Baylor and Gonzaga. All 4 No.2 Seeds Louisville, Oregon, North Carolina, and Arizona. I will say this as a word of warning don't take this as a final seeding breakdown because we still have a ways to go and anything can happen. But for Now I will agree with Joe LUNARDI on all of the 1 and 2 seeds for the NCAA tournament.

Wisconsin Badgers as a 3 seed: The Badgers are one of the best Teams in the Big 10. Despite a shocking lost to Northwestern on Saturday. I will agree with the 3 seeding for Wisconsin based on what they have done so far. They are one of the Favorites to win the Big 10 Championship this year and they have the team to do it.

The Kentucky Wildcats as a 3 seed: I will support the Wildcats as a 3 seed for now Head Coach John CALLAPARI Has his team in a Dog fight for the SEC Crown with the Florida Gators. The Wildcats are one of the Favorites to win the SEC and possibly go All the Way to the final 4 and win it all. So Lookout in the SEC for Kentucky Because they could be the team to beat.

UCLA Bruins as a 4 seed: The Bruins are in the middle of a battle for the PAC-12 Championship. But a couple of bad losses by Oregon and a couple of more Quality wins by them and they could clinch a 2 seed by the time it's all said and done. But UCLA at a 4 seed is just perfect for them at the Moment Because Oregon is running away and Arizona is also a team that UCLA needs to lookout for because they did beat them earlier in the season so there's still a lot of action left out of the PAC-12.

West Virginia Mountaineers as a 4 seed: The Mountaineers have upset both Kansas and Baylor this season as the No.1 or 2 team in the Nation. Coach Bob Huggins has his team loaded and ready to go. But there's still a long way to go before the season ends and we can't win the Big 12 regular season title. But we can steal the show in the Big 12 tournament and we have the team to do it. And I will say this if West Virginia is capable of upsetting both Baylor and Kansas in the regular season. If they upset them both in the Big 12 tournament don't be a bit Surprised if I am saying that West Virginia is worthy of a higher seed.

The Florida Gators as a 4 seed: The Gators are in a battle with Kentucky for the SEC title and they have a long way to go in the season. But I feel very good about Florida's seeding in the tournament and if they can beat Kentucky in the SEC tournament don't be surprised if we are Talking about Florida getting a higher seed and going all the way to the Final 4 this year and they could be a team to do it but it's only February and anything can still happen.

Now the teams I cannot in good faith agree with Mr. LUNARDI On and you might be surprised.

The Cincinnati Bearcats as a 4 seed. I know they had won 15 in a row but a bad loss to SMU On Sunday had me rethinking on that. Bearcats coach Mick CRONIN says he feels good about his team and he's proud of where he's at right now. But I can't support the Bearcats as a 4 seed based on what I saw against SMU there is a better team than them. And I think the Bearcats are not that good to be honest with you.

The Duke Blue Devils as a 5 seed: I know the Blue Devils hit a rough spot when coach K had to take leave of absence after back surgery. And Dave CAPEL struggled as interterm Head Coach. But they have Grayson Allen and he's a all around player and the rest of the Duke Team is loaded and after a Huge win at Cameron Indoor over North Carolina I have to be honest with and say I think Duke Should be a 4 seed and Cincinnati should be the 5 seed.

Virginia Tech Hookies as a 10 seed: The Hookies did upset Virginia on Saturday in overtime but their Strength of Schedule is only 83. Their RPI is 45 and their opponents Strength of Schedule is 19. They Do have 2 quality wins over Duke and Virginia. But they do have 4 very Bad Loses Against Florida State, Notre Dame, North Carolina, and at Virginia. And with that all in mind I can't support Virginia Tech as a 10 seed I think they still have a lot of work to do and Virginia Tech Needs top go as far as they can in the ACC tournament because they really need to convince me that they are worthy of being in the field and at the Moment they are on the bubble and they need some quality wins to get themselves off the bubble.

The Creighton Blue Jays as a 6 seed: I have some concerns about Creighton. Number 1 No Maurice Watson Jr. after his leg injury. He was the go to guy. Now I know that Creighton has a good team But they only have a SOS of 50, Their RPI is 45 and their Opponents SOS is 19. And on top of that they have 2 very bad losses against Marquette and Georgetown and they are only in the Top RPI 100. And considering the Injuries to Maurice Watson Jr I can't support Creighton as a 6 seed. I think that Should be lowered to a 7 or an 8 seed because I want some more quality wins against some good teams and I am not seeing that out of them at the moment.

Now you have seen my take on a few of the teams that are safe in the Big Dance and a few teams that should be ranked higher or lower or just plain don't belong their. Now I am going to say this as a word of warning. DO NOT TAKE THIS AS GOSPEL. This is not the final seeding for the Tournament and we have a long way to go. The Conference Tournaments still have to be played and we still have a few weeks to go in the Regular Season. And keep this date in mind, March 12th because that's Selection Sunday. And the team I have focused on today are teams that need wins to get a possible higher seed or Teams that Need Quality wins to either get in or get off the bubble. Because we are a 1 month Away From Selection Sunday and anything and everything can or will happen. I can Assure you that all the way. And I will be keeping you up to date as we get closer to March Madness. And In closing I will say this May the Best Team Win.
