Cavs/Celtics nearing trade that involves Kyrie Irving/Isaiah Thomas
The Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics are in "aggressive" trade talks involving their star point guards Isaiah Thomas and Kyrie Irving. Irving who asked management for a trade in July has been shopped around but no team has stepped up with the right deal that interests Cleveland.
The Cavs have said that they would need youth in return for Irving, only because they are looking towards the future without LeBron James. Irving is only 25 and the Celtics have youth as trade bait and it would come down to Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum to get this deal done.
This would be a rare occurrence that a trade between the Eastern Conference's 1st and 2nd seed would make a deal only to battle it out during the regular season.

It sounds like a lot but Kyrie is one of the rising stars in the NBA and it may come with a steep price tag. He only has two years left on his deal, so would this be a smart move for Boston? I will have more if this trade happens, stay tuned......
