UCF got all they could handle Saturday, and it might have been their worst performance of the season. Still, they managed to score 31 points and hold off SMU late. UConn and Temple are up next on the Knights' slate and, while both shouldn't be too hard to beat, we've seen weirder things happen this season.

Memphis appeared to be struggling with Tulsa for a little while, but quickly pulled away from the Golden Hurricane for a 41-14 win. The Tigers offense continues to be too much to handle, and the defense actually had a solid game. A big test against SMU awaits, and a win would clinch the AAC West.

Toledo passed a big test against another MAC West opponent in Northern Illinois, and its reward is a matchup against the MAC East leader in Ohio. Logan Woodside had his fourth game in which he failed to throw a touchdown pass, and his second 300+ yard passing game that didn't feature a score. The Rockets are deep offensively, and used three Terry Swanson touchdowns to beat the Huskies.

There wasn't much of a hangover from USF's loss to Houston last week, and the Bulls beat UConn by 17. Quinton Flowers the runner has turned into Quinton Flowers the passer all of a sudden, and threw for 385 yards and three touchdowns. Add in his 131 yards on the ground, and the senior might just be getting started. That can only mean good things for this team as they prepare for Tulsa and UCF to end the season.

Rashaad Penny and Juwan Washington combined for 368 yards and five touchdowns rushing in San Diego State's 52-7 win over San Jose State. The duo could not be stopped late Saturday night, and the Spartans never found an answer. SDSU still needs some help if they want to win their division, but they might be running out of time.

The Lane Train continues to roll at FAU. A 30-25 win over Marshall isn't what many expected, but the Owls got it done. Devin Singletary continues to be a star, accumulating 275 total yards against the Thundering Herd. While a matchup against FIU looms in two weeks, the Owls can't get caught looking past Louisiana Tech this week. FIU may be right behind FAU in the divisional standings, but their opponent this week is capable of beating them.
