Is everyone in the AP Poll oblivious to what happened this season? Ok, five people are paying attention, and they are the five people who voted Georgia to be the top team in the country. Everyone else is still obsessed with Nick Saban's reputation. Why even have rankings if resume's aren't going to be used?

Georgia continued its roll by beating South Carolina 24-10. The running game continues to be led by Nick Chubb and Sony Michel, and Jake Fromm continues to do just enough. I've been wondering for a while what this team would look like if Jacob Eason didn't get hurt, but I don't think it would be much different. Their defense continues to dominate as well, but they face a stiff test this weekend.

The AP Poll's cop-out #1 team this year. Sure, Saban's reputation is great, but if we went by that, there would be no point in playing the season. The Tide played a rather boring game against LSU, winning 24-10. And by boring I mean they did enough to win and not let the Tigers get back into the game.

Is Notre Dame for real? So far, it appears to be the case, and we will know more after this weekend. A trip to Miami is next, and the Fighting Irish face a Hurricanes team that is sick of hearing how bad their undefeated record is. Miami stomped Virginia Tech this past weekend, and are looking to prove they're a competitor. Whoever wins this game keeps their playoff hopes alive, and the loser most likely loses those hopes.

Clemson had their hands full with North Carolina State, and the Wolfpack had a chance to tie the game. But a Ryan Finley turnover ended those chances, and the Tigers pulled out a 38-31 win on the road. Clemson has actually looked human as of late, and the defending champs continue to have their hands full every week with their opponent. A struggling Florida State team is next, and playing at home should help immensely.

Well, Oklahoma's offense can put up points, that's for sure. Their defense just couldn't stop anyone. Even Oklahoma State's last play on offense wasn't stopped by the Sooners, it was an overthrow by Mason Rudolph. Still, Baker Mayfield and the offense look unstoppable, and are in a great position to make the playoff. A big test awaits when they host.....

.....the Horned Frogs. TCU's offense slowed down the last two weeks, and they will need to pick up the pace if they want to keep up with Oklahoma. One thing Gary Patterson's team has going for them is defense. Patterson's defense is the sixth best in total defense and is allowing just 13.9 points per game. Oklahoma's offense is averaging 45. Something's got to give, and the side that does might decide the game.
