Can Luke Walton make the Lakers relevant again?

For the last three years the Los Angeles Lakers have been an embarrassing, bottom feeding, crap team. Under the helm of Byron Scott the Lakers were in complete disarray. The chemistry was terrible, like when D'angelo Russell allegedly snitched on a teammate(Nick Young) for cheating. Bryon Scott didn't know what the hell he was doing. He didn't like playing the young players, he was disinterested in developing the young core, not to mention he put everything in Kobe's hands and the franchise made it into the Kobe show instead of focusing on everyone else. But now things are different. With the hiring of Luke Walton, even though he's a rookie coach, things seem to have changed for the better. Unlike Byron Scott, the players actually like Luke. There's actually a system in place. Players are finally being held accountable for once. Not to mention with veteran additions like Luol Deng and Jose Calderon, this team has veterans to learn and grow from. Even though the season is early, I think under Luke Walton the Lakers could start to turn this franchise around sooner than expected.
