Week 1 features some interesting matchups, such as Atlanta facing Philadelphia in what is sure to be a high flying, score heavy shootout. I have Atlanta winning this matchup simply because Philadelphia is without Wentz and reports say Foles has been shaky in practice. Meanwhile Matt Ryan is an MVP candidate with weapons like Julio jones, Mohamed Sanu, Devonta Freeman, and Tevin Coleman in addition to a solid young defense Atlanta will be a hard team to beat this season. Another great week 1 matchup will feature the LA Rams and Oakland. Oakland didn’t play to their potential last year and while making some additions in the off-season (Jordy Nelson) I’m not sure they have what it takes to beat the Rams. I do think this team has talent but they need to stay out of their heads and the receivers need to start catching passes or they will be underwhelming once again.
