The Spanish Defender has been consistent throughout his time in London however his consistency has been much more impactful now than it has ever been in the past. e Defender started the season solidly at left back and provided few assists however results were quite inconsistent. However Azpilecueta was switched to centre-back in a changed formation of 3-4-3/5-2-3 and both results and Azpilueta's performances have been consistent as Chelsea have been in pole position for the last 4 months and lead the table by 10 points (as of 30th March 2017).

It had to be this man. I can't remember when he was in bad form or an even had an off-game. He is the definition of a midfield machine. He intercepts and distributes. Due to his midfield engine, Leicester had a miraculous season and now Chelsea are on the verge of winning the title. The Frenchman has had more interceptions in the last 2 seasons than any other player in the last 3 seasons. What a player!
