Tony Parker to return to the G-League?!
The San Antonio Spurs are set to assign their veteran point guard, Tony Parker to their G-League (formerly D-League) affiliate, the Austin Spurs, as part of his rehabilitation journey.
Parker has already practiced with the team on Wednesday and is set to do the same again. These are focusing on his fitness, with the Spurs hoping the former All-Star can get back to 100% soon.
Despite being cleared by the medical staff in September, the Spurs have taken their usual cautious approach with an injury, and haven't set a timetable for his return. The initial estimation was January, but this could be even sooner if the rehab process stays on track.
