Jahlil Okafor might be traded to the San Antonio Spurs!

The San Antonio Spurs could end up trading for Jahlil Okafor Sports Illustrated editor Matt Dollinger recently reported. I like the premise of Jahlil Okafor going to the San Antonio Spurs. The San Antonio Spurs could trade Kyle Anderson and Patty Mills in exchange for Jahlil Okafor. My only concern with Jahlil Okafor is the fact that he can struggle on the defensive end. I trust that having a hall-of-fame coach in Gregg Popovich can improve his defense.
I prefer the Spurs use the same assets for Greg Monroe or sign Thomas Robinson. I can see the appeal of Jahlil Okafor but I also have some concerns about the move. I really like his offensive game and he could become one of the best centers in the NBA. Jahlil Okafor is still raw and still needs time to develop. I do think if the price is right and if the Spurs could keep Patty Mills then the Spurs should attempt to trade for Jahlil Okafor.
The Spurs are clearly looking for another center to sign. I think it will be very interesting what the final roster will look like after training camp. I saw that the Spurs signed French prospect Livio Jean-Charles it was reported by the Spurs on NBA.com. I could see him as a trade asset or he could be prospect they intend to develop. I am hopeful that the Spurs will add one more center. I think they can beat the Golden State Warriors if they can add one more center to the rotation.
