Week 12 NFC Power Rankings

1. Dallas Cowboys 9-1 vs Washington

Zeke and Dak are benefiting and taking full advantage of the best o-line in football. Their ability to control the clock and win time of possession allows the defense to stay fresh and play well.

2. Seattle Seahawks 7-2-1 @ Tampa

Seattle's offense has come alive as Russell Wilson has gotten healthy. The second half offensive surge coupled with the return of Cam Chancellor and Michael Bennett to the defense and the Pete Carroll's team is equipped to challenge the Cowboys.

3. New York Giants 7-3 @ Cleveland

The Giants defense has been the difference this season and the money they spent is paying off. They will need to get more from the ground game to not be one dimensional and should avoid a collapse down the stretch.

4. Washington DC 6-3-1 @ Dallas

They have another test this week in Dallas and so far they have played well and passed most of their test. It will be interesting to see if the tie helps or hurts them in the end.

5. Atlanta Falcons 6-4 vs Arizona

Many were waiting on the second half let down from the Falcons and after last week's poor performance in Philly they could be headed in that direction.

6. Detroit Lions 6-4 vs Minnesota

The Lions are playing really good football. They won't blow you out but they also avoid being blown out. A win this week would essentially give them a two game lead in the division with a sweep of the Vikings.

7. Minnesota Vikings 6-4 @ Detroit

After 5 straight wins followed by 4 straight losses the Vikings saved their season with a win last week vs Arizona. Now a huge division game against the first place Lions looms and is a must win.

8. Philadelphia Eagles 5-5 vs Green Bay

Carson Wentz is playing like a rookie and needs his defense to perform consistently to bail him out. They get the Packers this week who have been really bad defensively. Wentz should play well and have a huge day.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5-5 vs Seattle

After a big win in Kansas City the Buccs come home to play Seattle who is a better offensive team so the challenge is much different but the Buccs confidence should be really high.

10. Carolina Panthers 4-6 @ Oakland

At 4-6 they are still in the race for the division but they start a stretch where they play 4 of their last 6 games on the road and 4 of the last 6 games are against teams that if the playoffs started today they would be in.

11. New Orleans Saints 4-6 vs Los Angles

Much like the Panthers, the Saints are still in the hunt for the division and have a tough schedule ahead. The defense plays well at times but not consistent enough to help Brees and the offense.

12. Arizona Cardinals 4-5-1 @ Atlanta

Right behind the Steelers on the list of most disappointing are the Cardinals. The team hasn't been the same since the lose in last season's NFC Championship game.

13. Green Bay Packers 4-6 @ Philadelphia

The injuries have been too much to overcome on both sides of the ball and Aaron Rodgers is trying to make too many big plays to keep his team in games because they can't run the ball to protect the defense.

14. Los Angles Rams 4-6 @ New Orleans

Jared Goff gets a chance to play against one of the worse defenses in the NFL but he will also play in one of the toughest stadiums in the NFL. This is a great opportunity for him.

15. Chicago Bears 2-8 vs Tennessee

Man this team has been awful and it starts with Jay Cutler who may be on his way out of Chicago and out as a starter in the NFL overall.

16. San Francisco 1-9 @ Miami

The team refuses to quit on each other but I do believe they have at least lost faith in their coach and management should be as well.
