Has the flame burned out of Aaron Rodgers' NFL career

Aaron Rodgers called his team out this week for not having enough fire on the sideline...UHHHHH, might wanna look in the mirror there Mr. Rodgers.

And there it was, Aaron Rodgers calling his team out, saying they lacked energy which translated into lack of effort following a dispirited loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Rodgers stood at the microphone, shrugged his shoulders and intimated he just didn't know what the problem was or how to fix it.

How about looking in the mirror, Aaron Rodgers?

While the media tossed and turned earlier in the week whether Aaron Rodgers was worthy of calling his teammates out perhaps the ultimate solution would have been for Rodgers to examine his own morose body language and soft-spoken demeanor floating our words like I'm not a rah-rah guy and I lead by example.

At 4-4 in a soft division with a very winnable NFC out for the taking, it's time for this former elite athlete to slam his fist on the table, drop a few f-bombs and go out and kick some butt.

As I live in South Dakota and don't have the NFL ticket I don't see the Packers every week but I have to ask where are the Aaron Rodgers fist pumps? Where is the fearless gunslinger that takes shots down the field and fears no corner? Where is the scrambling around and getting to the first-down marker no matter the cost?

Yes, Aaron Rodgers has earned the right to  say whatever he wanted to HIS team, but you worry about the psyche of a team whose best player and leader just doesn't seem that interested in winning football games. Say, what you want, I saw a defeated man at the podium Sunday, a man that while trying to appear to point blame at all, including self, came off as guy that was pointing fingers at everyone but himself.

Man, I look at the stats and I see 20 TD's against just 5 interceptions and it's hard to fathom that anyone, including self could point fingers at Rodgers and suggest he's the problem, the yards per attempt are way down and the QB rating, the stat that matters, continues to hover below 100.

There are a lot of fingers to be pointed at with this Green Bay team, but the key to getting everyone to play at their highest level is to have the Big Man On Campus own his own deficiencies and start playing like he still loves this game.

Third in a terrible division in mid-November...Wow!!

And the bad news just keeps coming. Three consecutive road games...@Tennessee, @Washington, @Philadelphia. Green Bay either finds a way to come together on this road trip or any chance of a Super Bowl is done. Lose two of those games and the playoffs are an unlikelihood.
